Extremely durable. One end is an ice pick, the other end has a hammerhead with a claw point on on one side and a chisel edge on the other. The only drawback I see (and don't know how they might remedy the design), is that in order to use either of the tools on the "handle", you have to hold it by the small, rounded "pick" end, which is a bit difficult when it is wet.
