Nice ink, smooth writer, will NOT fit CROSS Townsend Pens
Used these in another pen, they worked fine. I tried to fit one into my CROSS Townsend pen and it did not fit. Similar dimensions, But the length of the nib assembly is off just a touch (too short) to make it unworkable as a CROSS substitute.Otherwise, nice refills.

I did some research and it turns out the Schmidt brand is the gold standard for pen cartridges. The ink is bright, thick, and flows smoothly and consistently. No matter how fast I write, it leaves a nice, clear line (the other brand I used often skipped or the ink line got thinner the faster I wrote.) It even works if there is skin oil on the paper (some pens can't deal with that, so skip.) Smooth roller ball action. I like the medium tip as it produces a reasonably thick line.
