I'll start with the information that I am a woman in my 40s with dry, sensitive skin, and I've been using this product for a few years. This product is underrated in the sense that none of the beauty vloggers ever talk about it, but it is the best high SPF product that I have ever used. And, that's saying something because I have pale skin and work outside a lot. I have worn SPF every single day for 30 years and have tried dozens over the years. I think one of the reasons for its underappreciation is that this product is marketed to men. It is not greasy in any way and plays nicely with all makeup that you want to put on top from tints to full coverage foundations. It's actually a great primer because it is both moisturizing and low emollient at the same time. My husband hates the way that every sunscreen feels and used to refuse to wear it, which is not good because we live in Florida. But, after I convinced him to try it, he asked me to get him a tube. He observed that it isn't greasy at all and soaks in right away.

I've been hunting for a sunscreen with good UVB *AND* UVA coverage for ages, because traditional sunscreens are typically a lot better at protecting against UVB than UVA. For the science nerds out there, the UVA rays are the ones that go deeper into the skin than UVB & they are a major cause of wrinkles. For those not familiar, while the US uses "SPF" rating, many other countries also use a "PA+" rating (PA is short for 'Protection Grade of UVA') , first developed in Japan. This bottle has PA rating of "PA+++". In researching all of this (I am American but specifically wanted sunscreen for protection against wrinkles and anti-aging effect AKA less UVA rays getting thru), I learned the scale is something like this: PA+ = some protection against UVA. PA++ = moderate protection. PA+++ = high protection. It is pretty hard to find PA++++ (extremely high protection) but it does exist. I am also really happy with how this sunscreen applies. It has a watery feel that is absorbed pretty quickly and feels lightly hydrating. It is refreshing to put on in the mornings in particular before work! My other sunscreen test for whether I am happy with a product is if I have to wash my hands after applying it. This is one of the rare ones where I don't feel like I have to wash my hands after because there's no sticky residue to speak of.

I’ve been looking and hoping to find a sunscreen like this for years and I am so happy! I’m a professional gardener with fair skin and I need great sun protection. Most that I’ve tried are too greasy, heavy, don’t blend in and even when claiming to be noncomdogenic, make me break out. Rain or Shine is perfect and I actually look forward to putting it on every morning and reapplying when needed which is great. It’s light and non sticky which I love and dries smooth and doesn’t pill when applying make-up. I’m seriously sensitive to perfume and this product is fragrance free. It feels so nice and fresh on my face. I have two at a time, one that I use in the morning and a second that I keep in my bag for my workday outside. Rain or Shine is made by a small family company and these days it feels really good to support small businesses that care about quality and want feedback on their products. Thank you Rain or Shine!

This is the best facial sunscreen I have tried, and I have tried many. No white cast to the skin and is very effective. Higy recommend.

This sunscreen goes on great. It's light weight and no offensive smell. I've tried a few that feel, heavy or greasy or has a chemical scent. There are none of these issues with this sunscreen and I find myself reaching for this one the most. It also has no white cast. I love it.

I’ve tried so many sunblocks living in Florida with sensitive skin that burns easily and this one has topped them all for a lightweight feel, non greasy, doesn’t break me out, and an excellent protection against the harsh Florida sun! I keep one in my purse and one at home. I would prefer it be cheaper but for me, the expense is worth the protection. Highly recommend!

This facial sunscreen is absolutely perfect. It absorbs instantly without a white tint, has a very light, pleasant scent, and it is not shiny! Moisturizes well, doesn’t break me out at all, and my skin is still somewhat acne-prone in my late 40’s. I am so lucky to have made this purchase. The bottle is stylish, too, and is designed right to avoid messy application as well as wasted product. I apply this sunscreen to my face, neck, and exposed collarbone area. Will definitely repurchase. It is better than more expensive and hyped-up products I bought before, I always had at least a few issues with them; this one is great on all fronts. I highly recommend this product to everyone who is undecided due to its price for the size. It is actually justified. Please keep in mind that it doubles as a day moisturizer, so it is worth purchasing. It performs really well under makeup.
