Great for price
Great for the price. You must position the units correctly to get a good signal. Once set up correctly you get what you paid for. For me, it works fine for what I need.Try not to mount the cameras inside the glass looking out your windows.Outside get best picstures at night.

THis set should not be sold, JUNK! A Boomerang for Amazon!
I can not imagine anyone who has a computer network could use this set in the first place. As soon as you turn it on my entire wireless computer network is gone, kicking all the PC and MAC computers off. Then the same this as in other posts, it scans 1,2,3,4 even though there is no 3 and the remote does NOTHING!Picture quality was OK compared to others I have tried but you have to be within 10 feet of the receiver or you not only get picture degradation, but audio pops and whatnot. Had the set for 4 hours, waist of time and money. CHINA KEEPS PUMPING OUT JUNK AND WE BUY IT, WHY. I would gladly pay 3x this amount to get a quality set but there is no competition between this $149 and $5000.

Cheap is cheap. Caveat emptor.
If you're looking to get a cheap deal on a wireless camera solution, that doesn't need to go through more than 30-40ft. (including walls, which most people have I assume), and are not concerned about lots of static in the image, and do not mind poor-quality night pictures, and are okay with buying a DVR device or USB video capture device to store the video, then this set is for you!In hindsight, I would have just spend the extra several hundred dollars and got a wired solution with a DVR. You get what you pay for. I have a feeling that the wireless solutions in general are not good. The problem is going through walls, and potential interference with 802.11x wireless routers. I have the the Astak solution working, but has poor quality video at night, and I had to reposition the cameras several times closer to the receiver--they really can't go more than 50 feet when there are walls, brick, etc. in between.

Great Product, Poor Reciever Antenna and customer service
I brought this unit a year ago, and the range was really poor. I had made tons of adjustments but still had grainy and jumping images, so I contacted Astak customer service. I spoke to the representative and the information they gave was useless since I had already tried to turn off my home phone, wireless router, etc. I asked him via email again regarding if they carried an extended antenna for the receiver and they never responded back. I pried open the antenna and found out it was made out of cheap green wire, but the screw was similar to wireless antenna card. I went onto Ebay and brought a $5 Male SMA antenna hooked it in the receiver and WoW clear stable images to all three cameras. However, one of the color camera was defected and had black and white images.

Worked for awhile...
I had a 2 camera set from Costco for about a year when one of the cameras died. So I got this 3 camera set. Even though there are only 3 cameras, the receiver scans 1 through 4. The cams are set as #1, #2, and #4. So on scan you get screen fuzz on #3, and there's no way to set it to only scan 3 cams. You can set the cam number in the camera, but it still scans 1-4. Ok, so deal with it. But 2 of the 3 cameras died after about 3 months of use. No reason for that. And I can't find anyplace to buy replacement or extra cams; you have to buy the whole set. NOT a high quality product, as shown by the price and non-existent support. I've been using the same standard web cams for years and they haven't died yet, but these don't live long. Take your chances.

Crash your wireless
Returned. Didn't realize for some time. Plugging in the second camera crashed my entire wireless network. Not sure what the conflict was, but it rendered my Router completely inoperative. It seems there was a conflict with the frequency. I had to reset the router to "out of box" condition, and eventually had to completely replace it. After trying to recover with 2 more routers, it occurred to me that the LAST action was to plug in these wireless cameras. When I removed them, my network returned to normal. The experience and trouble shooting to several days.
