I really like the product; it helps with my sleep and my muscle soreness, but four large pills is a bit much. I don't have issues taking the pills most of the time because their design is smooth and slender, so they slide down easily, but they are very large, and sometimes it's more than my system wants to handle. I take them at night right before I go to bed and I have noticed on days when I opt not to take them because of their size that I have a harder time waking up and I'm sorer.

This is an excellent way to get all the daily sources of Calcium, Magnesium and Vitamin D3 in one place. You must take 4 caplets a day, so best to take 2 at a time for ease in swallowing.

These are terrific! The size might be a bit intimidating at first, but I can take 3 at once, and I'm a small person. They're very smooth, so I think that helps. I take these at night before bed, primarily as a calcium supplement due to osteoarthritis and early onset osteopenia, but the added magnesium really helps with my insomnia. I've tried all sorts of herbal remedies and prescription sleeping pills, but the calcium/magnesium combo is the only thing that seems to work for me. One thing to note is that the bottle is glass. My husband didn't realize this, rattled the shelf where I keep them, and the bottle fell and shattered into a million little pieces. He says the shards were too small for him to feel comfortable reclaiming the pills, so he threw them all away. I'm back on here to buy another bottle.

4* only because of the size of the pill. This was recommended to me by my midwife (I'm about halfway through my second pregnancy). I really like it, I'm already noticing a difference in my hip pain. If you have bad morning sickness or a bad gag reflex, I would suggest getting the chewable. The pills are so big it's hard to swallow.

I like these because they are a smooth tablet not a messy powdered capsule. Easy to swallow. I take 3 a day along with a multi vitamin with calcium and extra D. Per my doctors recommendation to take calcium citrate for my osteopenia. I’ve taken these for over a year now and my blood work showed normal levels of calcium last time. So far I’m happy with the results. I would say the cost for the money is good also since I’m getting results.

Definitely did its job when I was pregnant

I like these caplets because: - Only 4 caplets supply 1000 mg of calcium, 400 mg of magnesium, and 800 IU of vitamin D. This means I don't have to take as many pills as if taken separately. - Calcium citrate doesn't upset my stomach the way other forms of calcium do. - The vegetable coating is slick and the caplets are easier to swallow than others I've tried. For those with trouble swallowing pills, it can help to coat them with a little oil or butter first. - The label says they are free of milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, yeast, gluten, barley, rice, sodium, and sugar. Bluebonnet claims to use no unnecessary colors, fillers, flavors, binders, or carriers. This is great for those with allergies/sensitivities.

These are probably effective, but they're ginormous and you have to take 4 a day, which makes it not a very good value. I'll finish them, but I will look elsewhere for slightly smaller pills or at least a smaller amount per dosage.
