One of the best Ramadan books for kids out there, if not the best. Really well written and absolutely beautiful illustrations. This is a Board book There are some Islamic Concerns in this book like showing Women Leading Salah... Dog in the house underneath the Table when having Suhoor... Few Characters in the Book Eating in the Left Hand... The Author is Not a Muslim , This book is published by mainstream traditional company simonandschuster they have various other festival books under the theme Celebrate the World... I am not sure if this is done By the Author with Lack of Knowledge... The words used are simple and explain a lot of the basics of Ramadan.

Ich habe das Buch für meine 2 jährige Tochter letzten Ramadan gekauft und sie war total begeistert. Wir haben das Buch mehrmals täglich gelesen. Ich habe ihr alles auf Deutsch übersetzt. Die Bilder sind sehr kindgerecht, sehr süß! Ich kann das Buch nur weiterempfehlen! Schade, dass es viele gute islamische Kinderbücher (noch) nicht in deutscher Übersetzung gibt.

This book is just what I have been looking for. Beautifully illustrated and simply written I am excited to share this book with the 2-4 year olds that I work with. There are many things in the book that young children can identify with as well as presenting the children with a positive image of another culture/religion. I have struggled in the past to find books appropriate for younger children. Perfect for Understanding the World- People and communities as well as reflecting British Values of tolerance and mutual respect. I will definitely be purchasing other books in the series.
