It hangs from a rack in my full sixe oven, and is tall enough that my toaster oven would not allow it to properly rest. Not familiar with yours, though.

What does the GG stand for?

I don't see "GG" anywhere on mine - can't help you.

How long does it take to display the right temperature? It’s been over 10 min . The oven reads 450 and it reads 400

If the oven has finished preheating, it's showing you what it thinks it's temperature is. Does the oven take longer than 10 minutes to preheat? If so, allow that much time for the thermometer to register the interior temperature. Ovens are not always accurate. If the oven's sensor is close to the heat source, it will think it's hotter than the oven actually is (as shown on a thermometer placed in the center of the oven). If the oven sensor is not close to the heat source, it will think it's cooler than the oven actually is. Don't know where the sensor is? Go with the temperature shown on the thermometer.
