Eren is put through a rough ordeal of being in court for being a monster and dangerous to the human race. We already knew that was going to happen, but it was interesting to see how things turn out. We also got a cool flashback on important information about titans. We are introduced to some new characters and important revelation as well. Story: The story is slow at first, but speeds up real fast and leaves a huge cliffhanger at the end. Eren is on trial and things are extremely interesting listening to the police and scouting legion on Eren predicament. We are introduced to a new character named Hanji who is basically a researcher on titans. She is extremely smart and explains a lot about titans. New types of titans are introduced call Deviant who are smarter then regular titans. Also a new type of titan just like the colossal and armored titan is introduced. 4/4 Character development: Wow lots of character development this time. Hanji is a really cool character that was introduced. Eren also has a squad of elite guards guarding him, but not much is explained about them really. Hanji basically got a chapter to herself and her research on titans and that was awesome. Irvin and Levi got some screen time and we learn a lot about Irvin leadership and get to understand why the scouting legion is a lot more powerful then it used to be. 3/3. Artwork: There is reason why 20 million volumes have already been sold in Japan. Awesome artwork as always. 3/3 Overall, this is extremely important volume in the series and definitely a good one. I am so pumped up about next volume, but I got to wait til September. 10/10 Review: Great series for teens - Bought this for a teen who is really into this series. He loves them.

Spectacular. We're slowly buying the entire series. What a great animé/manga series. It's for young and old. A good story is a good story.

Best manga ever
I've seen the anime attack on titan, and the manga might be even better! It's overall easier to understand, due to the anime not including every detail. If you have not read the other attack on titan books, I recommend reading 1 and 2 in a row because they go well together. Book 5 still is my favorite, but the plot is tied together through all the books so it will only make sense if you read from the very begining

Thrilling Addition
This volume was another thrilling addition to the series. I liked it better than the previous volume and I am starting to see some similarities between this and Naruto. I am not surprised by it, due to how everything is similar in a way to everything. The story is getting better and I can't wait till the anime gets dubbed in English.

英語の勉強を楽しくするために購入しました。同じシーンでも、英語の吹き替えやテレビの英語の字幕、漫画の英訳はそれぞれ表現が異なり、英語の表現の幅がいろいろあるのだな・・と感じます。進撃が好きで、英語に興味がある人にはお勧めです。ただ、日本のバイリンガル版と異なり、輸入盤はセリフなどがすべて大文字の記載になっていますので、小文字を使った表記に慣れている私にとっては、慣れるまでちょっと読みずらかったです。でも、慣れるから大丈夫ですよ。
