Very good lawnmower
This lawnmower is lightweight. I was going to return it when it arrived because I thought it seemed flimsy, but I was wrong, it is a really good mower, it starts very easily, reasonable quiet, and easy to use. It makes a good job of cutting the grass. I would have preferred a larger grass collector but it's not a problem really. It was delivered the next day after ordering, it is easy to build but instruction manual could be better. I would recommend this lawn mower for its ease of use

Well made mower
This product came well packed and on time the instructions were OK could do with giving ammount of oil to add. Mower was very easy to start ran well and did an excellent cut easy to move over grass. I would recommend this for small to medium sized lawns.

Great balance cost vs performance
Ideal for small to medium gardens. Keenly priced, nice quality & easy handling. Cuts well & collects clippings effectively. Easy to assemble and use but beaware, it's either on or off - no progressive throttle

Nice machine.
So, I bought this to try and tame my (new to me) allotment that had been left heavily overgrown by previous occupier.Nice, lightweight and easy to assemble (just a x head screwdriver required for 2 screws).Fuelled up, oil filled up and on first pull of the chord it burst into life.Due to state of the overgrown grass / weeds, wheels were set to highest level. The machine breezed through everything except a hidden tarpaulin- easily resolved. The only negative is that the crystal control lever that kills power if you let go does not sit flush to the handle (unless I’ve assembled it wrong?) meaning that your grip is ‘spread’I have a sneaky feeling that’s easy to resolve as the instruction suggest it shouldn’t be like that. One very happy allotment holder.

Great Mower, Great Price
The media could not be loaded. I bought the "Mountfield SP41 Petrol Lawnmower, Self-Propelled" and I do recommended this lawnmower, there is 2 things I do not like though, first the cutter does not go as wide as the wheels, meaning when you cut an edge you cannot cut right to the edge or the wheel would go over the edge as shown in the video review, and secondly the wheels are very thin and hollow, fine for grass, but I store my lawnmower away from my lawn and I have to go over concrete, the wheels are like a small child’s car they sit in, but worse as they are hollow and only have an outer edge.Other than these 2 peeves it cuts great, started first time, the design is all you need, there is no primer for the fuel like my last mower so we will see if this causes a problem down the road, the noise level is below average, it pulls you along at a nice steady pace, although it is very light, if you were an older person this would be usable from starting to using, the build quality seems a little childlike, as I said it is very light and this makes me feel it is not as sturdy as my last one but that is just how it feels to me and I am sure it is not an issue. When it comes you have to add your own engine oil and fuel (unleaded), when adding the oil as in the video add it a bit at a time, as the oil takes a min to settle on the dipstick so you can easily over fill if you pour too much in, 1 review said they cannot store this and have to leave the handles up but that is not the case, simply unscrew the 2 large side handle holders just before they come off totally and then you can easily fold the top half of the handles over and lay it on the top of the mower as shown in the video, also when unscrewing these hold the 2 handle joins together keeping it close making it easier to unscrew the thread. This mower is plastic but feels sturdy, my last one was metal and a lot heavier, hence the feel I get that it is not as strong but this I am sure that is psychological, but my last one rusted through the top and this was the reason I scrapped it and got this one.Overall i would recommended it, it seems a great mower, modern, not loud, powerful enough, starts easily and so light you may not even need the propelled part as it is so easy to push. The price of the SP41 is lower than it usually is right now and a big jump to the SP42 (£90) with only a 2cm extra cutting width, so go for the SP41 for value and quality.

Thought it was good...it wasn't
Was fine for a while and now no end of problems. Would not buy again. Self propell broke after one season and constantly cuts out. Not happy at all.
