First time buyer and now life long customer I love this product it literally softens my beard and makes it easier to style and the scent is perfect, and I love the message on the back of the bottle, I want them to make oils and other products because I’d buy them lol

After using for about 4 months during growing my beard from stubble to a respectable 4 month almost 5 month long beard at 2.5 almost 3 inches in length without trims I feel that I can give this product a through comprehensive review. While the 'increased growth rate' claim is debatable as always with anything, but it does seem to help encourage new growth as some of my more thinner spots of my beard i.e. the upper cheeks and under the lower lip seem to have filled in a bit more than what it was prior to using the product. Plus it seems that its kept my growth rate up during the slow season of Winter and keeping it more closer to that of Summer growth rates, though I'm also using hair and nail growth vitamins and CBD so it's hard to tell if it's the product working or the other products in my routine. The smell is a bit weird getting used to, but as most have stated it isn't the worst and you get used to it relatively quick. After using both the shampoo and conditioner my very course beard does seem more softer and more manageable as well as easier to train and groom and makes it look fuller and more bushy which I like. As for moisturizing it's not the best and you still might need to follow up with a beard oil or tonic especially in Winter when it's drier. Perhaps my biggest complaint is that the conditioner can be a bear to get out of the bottle once it gets about a third the way as its too thick and semi-pasty almost like thick pudding or custard. I have to take the lid off and beat the bottle into my hand to get the product out at this point as squeezing it isn't enough. The shampoo on the other hand is somewhat runny and watery though still lathers up real good and does the job well. All in all I'd recommend this product to other beard enthusiast out there, but if you can make the conditioner not as thick, that would be excellent!

Shampoo make my face and beard so dry, but this conditioner is AMAZING. The shampoo just strips all the oils from my beard and face, way more than my usual products. The conditioner has a really nice whipped cream kind of consistency and makes your skin and beard so soft. I noticed my beard was softer after the first use of the conditioner. My steps for beard care are as follows: -Wash your beard thoroughly, as well as your scalp and face. Rinse thoroughly. -Apply a quarter sized (or less if you beard is smaller) portion of conditioner to your hands and gently rub on to your beard, being sure to work it all the way down to the skin. Be careful not to give yourself tangles. Leave the conditioner to work while you wash the rest of your body. Rinse thoroughly. -Dry yourself as per usual, but leave the beard more damp. -Using your favorite beard oil, massage the oil in to your beard, being sure to work it down to the skin under your beard as well. -Comb your beard with a comb to get out any knots. Use a boar's hair brush to soften the beard and make it lay down again. -Balm is optional, but highly recommended in cold, windy, or wet climates as it helps protect the beard, as well as keeps it from moving too much while working or from the wind. My beard is thick and on the longer side, so wind will pick it up and make me look like a crazy caveman. The scent is pleasant, but a bit too muted to be really noticed, which is great IMHO. Don't need this stuff trying to overpower whatever oils in using that day.

I'm a man with a medium-thick beard (about 3" currently) and I'm trying to grow it out. As my fellow beardsmen know, keeping it clean, healthy, and itch-free can be a challenge. Because of this, I began my beard product research. I've used other beard products, though I always felt like my beard dried out after. I would blow through oil and balm at alarming rates. I started researching both shampoos and conditioners for my face-glove, and found many promising results. However, when I researched the polished gentleman beard shampoo and conditioner, I found that it topped many best-of lists, and had excellent feedback. For me, the positivity of the community and the promise of a healthier, thicker beard with this three for two system, was enough to outweigh the price. Now, does it work? I'm happy to say that yes, for me it does. I usually shower one to two times a day, depending on my workouts, and so my facemane tends to dry out. I added this system every 2 days and had noticing less dryness, zero itch, and I actually noticed the healthy oil feel after showers! The oils and other ingredients make it feel clean and healthy, without drying out or feeling lighter, like I washed out some of its beardness. As for adding thickness, I cannot yet determine. I will say that having stronger, healthier beard hair equates to less hair loss, and therefore will make it thicker. I will update in a couple of months. The bottom line, this is the best beard shampoo and conditioner I've used, the customer service has been amazing, and I look forward to my best beard yet. Side note: there is no water in the shampoo and conditioner, just the stuff you need. Therefore, it's super concentrated so you don't need to use a ton. I recommend starting with less, and adding as needed. Beard on!

I expected bottles twice this size for 45$. The shampoo is ok, but the conditionner is really good and hydrate your beard well. Ill try other brands, but i might come back, in the future!

Inizialmente titubante visto l'enorme offerta di prodotti di questo tipo (reso scettico anche dalle imprecise traduzioni in italiano), ho voluto provare questi due prodotti venduti in abbinamento per il mantenimento di una barba di media lunghezza come la mia. Lo shampoo è davvero buono, ne basta pochissimo per una schiuma delicata, il balsamo ha un profumo gradevolissimo anche se più cremoso e quindi più complicato da far fuoriuscire dal barattolo. Ho trovato da subito netti miglioramenti alla barba che, insieme a una spazzola, è da subito visibilmente più morbida e ordinata.

Amazing product. After the first use you can feel the difference. The scent is lovely but not overpowering. Will be ordering some more after I have used what I have.

It smells nice and does what it says but no better than cheaper alternatives. Won't buy again.
