First use today after riding in my work truck for idk how long, worked well and dispensed gas and fire out as good as any other torch I’ve used. Another win for Amazon.

I would give six stars if it were possible to do so. It ignites immediately, it does not leak, it is light weight and the hose is thick and the adapter for the cylinder is rugged and good quality. Very much worth the price, and the price wasn't honestly that bad. I use this tool exclusively when I'm melting small batches of metal for alloying or casting. If you are looking for a way to give you dexterity when using your propane/mapp gas flame, then you want this. Exactly this.

I went to remove a tank and discovered that the needle inside the regulator had broken off, indicating very poor build quality. In addition to the damaged needle, the regulator does not properly turn on or off and instead remains constantly on, creating a serious functional and safety concern. This defect makes the equipment unreliable and unusable, as it cannot be controlled or operated as intended, and it reflects a lack of proper manufacturing standards. Overall, the product failed during normal use.

I appreciate the flame adjustability of this tool and build quality. The simple button-click mechanism for ignition and shutdown is a great feature. Although it’s very important to remember to turn off the gas bottle separately, this doesn’t detract from the overall convenience. As a DIY person, I rely on this torch with my camping propane tank, and it performs exceptionally well. I am not a heavy user so I am not sure how long it can be used for but it work for a min for me without spoiling the shaft or ignition system. In my opinion, it’s a fantastic investment.

This torch is affordable and works great for melting fine silver. The adjustable flame lets me use a low setting to pre‑borax my melting bowl and a high setting to refine the silver. It works perfectly with either MAP gas or a propane bottle
