It fit our 6 ft tree didn't really need to fold it up but going into the attic was fun added some cardboard on the sides to help but like the idea tho

Bought mine in November 2014, currently November 2022. Last year I noticed a couple of small holes, they are a bit bigger this year. I could probably get another year or two out of the bag, but at only $15 I'm going to go ahead and replace it. It doesn't have wheels, but the straps are quite sturdy. Sadly the straps are in the center and none on the ends making it easier to carry alone than to try to have 2 people do it, but that's my only real complaint given that it is only $15. I'm buying a new one right after I submit this review.

This is not going to pass a .50 calibre ballistics test. It will not act as a parachute, will not make you breakfast in bed, and unfortunately it will not start your car for you on Christmas day. All those things would be really nice, but again let me just remind you: THIS IS A 15 DOLLAR TREE BAG.So, why do you want to buy this thing? Actually, I don’t know if you do or not. However, I know why you are thinking about it because you are probably a cheapskate-scrooge who hates Christmas as much as I do. Let me guess, you were too cheap… AGAIN…. to buy that real tree (GUILTY!). Now you had to haul that &%$$#@(!!^^%%%$$ foul, flith, foul, foul…. etc artificial tree out of the attic. I know man, I hear you. I have to walk 50 flights of stairs on my knees after getting the tree down as well to complete penance for all the unchristmassy things I utter in anticipation of getting the tree down.... And I'm a protestant who does not believe in penance! It stinks being cheap, but you can’t justify spending 30 bucks for something that will last for a couple weeks right? I totally hear you. Right now, you are thinking, “How do I get that” %$#@%$#**&(^^%$%$% tree back in the attic? Maybe I can torch it… leave it by the curb… nah my wife won’t buy that I am a big enough idiot to mistake it for a real tree…. hum….. it has to go back in the attic…” Am I right? Yeah, then this bag will work for you because you are cheap like me. You can stuff that tree in the bag, drag it up there, throw it in the corner, and fugghetaboutit until next Thanksgiving. Does this thing work? Yup! Will it help you get that tree put away so you can move onto more important and fun winter projects? Yup! Will it get your wife off your back and not make the tree task so horrible? Sort of. I hate Christmas so I will say that it makes it more tolerable.Pros:-Makes putting the tree away less of a task-Makes getting the tree down less of a task-is sort of a nice green-Allows you to forget about the tree for the rest of the year…. YIPPEEE!-Allows for much LESS swearing after Thanksgiving-Makes Christmas decorating LESS dreadful-Can ultimately save your marriage-Cheaper than a divorce lawyer-Doesn’t cost you half your house after a settlementCons-Does not embrace Star Trek beaming technology (That would rock, Scotty beam this thing up to the attic)-Will not stop a .50 caliber bullet-Does not start your car for you on Christmas morning-Has not made me a latte-Failed to act as a parachute (boy that was embarrassing)Just buy the bag because your wife already knows you’re a cheapskate, she still loves you, and heck its only a 15 dollar splurge item that will make your life easier.

We purchased a new 9' Christmas tree with a 55" base this year. We previously had a 7.5' tree that was a little narrower and got any old canvas bag to store it in. You had to REALLY compress the tree to get it in there and it was a total pain to move because it was so tight there wasn't much to grab on to. Out new tree has twice as many branch tips as the old one and it took me about 3 hours to "fluff" up working by myself so I really wanted to get a bag that would allow me to store the tree with minimal compression.This is the biggest one I could find. I like that it's round because I can store it upright in my attic and I get even compression on all sides of the tree. Packed in loose I needed three bags, but that's only because I really want to keep it in good shape. You could get it in two reasonably, but I don't think there's any way our tree would fit in one. If you have a "slim" tree it might work, but again it would be vacuum packed.The saving grace is that these bags cost a lot less than anything else so three is about the price of the upright/stand bags that I was looking at that seemed to be too small based on reviews.Other positives. Our red canvas bag would leave a big mark on the wall if you even let it lightly make contact. These did not transfer any color at all on transport. That's nice because the tree is a little too big to fit up the stairs/through doors if it's not in a bag. Attic is on the 3rd floor so I was going to carry it separately so more bags is better anyway.One of the bags tore a small hole one one end (like a quarter inch), but if I'm careful I don't expect it will get much worse and overall they seem pretty well built.For the size and the cost compared to my only other bag experience I'd say just buy a bunch of these instead of trying to figure out a one bag solution. I feel like you'll save yourself some frustration in the future.
