Our Sweet Dreams Tincture contains organic herbs and spices traditionally used to treat insomnia, calm the nerves, induce deep sleep and encourage pleasant dreams. Taken an hour before bedtime, our sleep tincture contains organic Chamomile, Lavender, Kava, Valerian and Mugwort. Chamomile has long been used to treat insomnia and promote sleep. This sweet flower is also believed to have the added qualities of being anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and antiparasitic. Lavender is one of the most recognized scents in the world. Believed to be an aphrodisiac, the German Commission E has reported on the positive uses of Lavender for treating insomnia, nervous stomach, and anxiety. Kava is considered a sedative that has been used for centuries by Pacific Islanders to calm nerves and promote relaxation. Prescribed since the times of ancient Greece, Valerian has been used to treat insomnia, and nervousness. It is believed that Valerian has its greatest effect when used long-term for chronic insomnia. Mugwort has been used in teas, tinctures and in pillows to promote dreams in REM sleep.
