These little pens work great, my kids aren’t very gentle with them and they have held up great.

I bought one of those pads for children to draw on that have a color sheet underneath and a white sheet on top that when you wet the color of your bottom sheet shows. It’s a really clever idea for kids to color without having any actual color in their crayons or pens or such. But it really takes a substantial tip to be able to make a mark on the white cover sheet. I bought these pens, hoping they would work for us, and they certainly did. They’re easy to fill, the tip is very firm, and the pen itself has enough diameter to be held by a young child. I recommend these.

For the price, you would expect them to easily work.

Bought to replace the pens that come with the Melissa & Doug Water Wow books--work great! Different texture to get used to, but just as effective.

I bought these instead of cheaper options bc the pictures shows them with kids. This is untrue; the water markers DO NOT have lids. Be warned.

I bought this for my grandkids. The original pen that came with the mat set was stuck and I couldn’t open it. It worked previously and there was only 1 pen included with the set. I have 3 grandkids ranging in age from 2 to 4, so this worked out great. The pens were easy to open and water did not leak. The tip is very ;sturdy even with the toddler hands that tend to press hard. I will definitely buy again if needed. But I think my grandkids will outgrow playing with the mat before the pens give out. ;)
