The car key cover seems to be good quality but it’s a little bigger than I would like. Also, it doesn’t hook on my bag as easily. It’s something with the thickness and small length hook that doesn’t work for my backpack without force. Other than that, it’s good. Because it has more space, you can fit other things in it like another key, cash, coins or lip balm, etc. I think the price of the key cover is fair. I would recommend to someone who has a bigger key fob or just wants a little extra space for other items. It can be used as a cash wallet if you are carrying a very small bag. If you a have a little bit of bills and fold it, it could work.

I love the color. It matches my purse. I carry a very small purse so my key was taking to much room. I purchased this for my car key and it's exactly what I was looking for. Secure and attached to my purse. Very nice product.

I purchased this case for my key fob because sometimes buttons get pressed by accident as the key fob rolls around in my pocket. For example, one evening, the button for the tailgate was apparently pressed by accident. I didn't know it until morning. Since the lights inside the car were on overnight, the battery in my new car was dead when I came out the next morning. Fortunately, I was able to jump the battery from my wife's car, and I didn't lose too much time in getting where I needed to drive. However, this incident started me thinking about how to prevent it from happening again. I had noticed on some previous mornings that my car door was unlocked, but I didn't know why. Again, the unlock button must have gotten pressed as the key fob rolled around in my pocket. The Buffway car key case I recently purchased helps to prevent buttons from being pressed by accident. I have not had a single problem since I have started using the case about ten days ago. When I first received the case, I put my key fob in it and pressed the case to see if anything would happen to my car. If the outside of the case is pressed hard, then yes, the buttons will operate, but it is unlikely that the buttons would be pressed so hard with coins or other keys rolling around in my pocket. The case is attractive, seems well-made, and is smaller than some of the alternatives I found when I searched on Amazon and the Internet. The case is just the right size to fit around the fob, but it is small enough that it doesn't bother me to have it in my pants pocket all day at work. If you have a push button start on your car and a key fob, you may find this product helpful if you are having problems similar to mine.

This is THE BEST thing I've ever purchased! I only put my Honda key fob inside. And I attach the Buffway Car Key Case to the handle of my bag. Most times, I let the key case hang on the outside. But occasionally inside. The key case prevents my fob from getting banged up, and prevents the buttons from accidentally being depressed, thereby draining the battery. When I need to, I can easily carry this key case in my pants pocket. I love the quality of this key case. You can tell it's shock resistant. It looks good hanging on my black leather bag, too. I stumbled on this when I was looking for a new battery for my (drained) key fob. A low battery alert popped up on my Honda speedometer panel. I read other people's reviews about their unsuccessful attempts to stuff a bunch of keys, plus the key fob, inside. That's just plain silly. My purpose in purchasing this key fob case IS TO PROTECT THE KEY FOB! So that's all that's in there except my teeny AAA tag with my member# and their emergency numbers. I think there's room inside for a single housekey. If used properly, the zipper on this key fob case will last forever. It's metal, not plastic coil.

I accidentally opened the rear door on our brand new Mercedes SUV by squatting down with the smart key in my pocket while the Mercedes was parked inside the garage with the garage door closed. Not knowing that the door had opened far enough to hit the garage door, I later used the outside keypad to open the garage door. When it opened about one foot and then abruptly stopped, I went into the garage through the front door of the house and saw that the Mercedes tailgate was jammed against the garage door. Fortunately, there was no damage to either the car or the garage door and I was able to close the garage and then close the tailgate of the car. Because I busted the rear window of our 2020 Jeep Rubicon in a somewhat similar incident less than a month after we bought it, I knew I had to somehow prevent myself from accidently hitting the button on the Mercedes key fob that opens the tailgate. It has to be pressed for two seconds to activate, but if I did it once I can do it again! I ordered five different key fob cases from Amazon, and this one turned out to be the perfect solution for my problem. And, it's attractive looking, too! I'd highly recommend it. UPDATE: After finding the Mercede's tailgate open twice while it was parked in the driveway and my key was sitting on top of my dresser, my wife and I found her key loose in her jam-packed wallet and realized that we needed to store that more safely too. Incidentally, as additional insurance against the key's tailgate button being accidentally pressed even inside the key fob, I've inserted a stiff piece of plastic in the key fob on the side of the key containing the buttons.
