How do you use these ? Drill a hole first ?

I found them useless. They are supposed to grip after a hole ... but they don't.

Yes this will help remove a stripped iPhone screw. Probably stating the obvious but this method destroys the screw, so you'll want to get some replacements. It will also help somewhat if you push down the back cover to release the pressure on the screws.

How do you use the other end? These say they are reversible, but I can't figure out how to reverse them.

I had the same problem. It's a press fit but very tight. Pull the black tip straight out with a pair of pliers while holding onto the blue part. You'll see the bit is double-ended - just flip it around to use the other end/size and push it in until it clicks into the little slot on the blue handle.
