It’s gentle enough for my sensitive scalp—no burning or irritation—which is a huge plus. Very good developer, excellent quality. I used it with Ion hair color and it worked perfectly: the mixture was creamy, easy to apply, and didn't run. It doesn't have an overly strong scent and didn't damage my hair like other developers I've tried. The lift level was just as expected with 20 volume and left the color even and shiny. Plus, my hair felt soft after rinsing.
