Okay first of all I was very very sceptical since I’ve tried tuners and the such to no performance gains and not really feel any type of “power” Now this goes to say this will not give you a increase in horse power or anything but, my god did I feel the difference as soon as I turned it on and tapped the pedal. I have a few Escalades all Esv trim levels And it’s a pretty powerful truck Now with this damn... feels like my McLaren p1 If this was a 2 wheel drive truck I’d have done a burnout Don’t make the mistake of starting in sport+ with the adjustmeant at +4 Scared the living **** out of me All this is doing is giving you more pedal travel meaning The factory doesn’t give you 100% throttle it is programmed to give about 80-85% Now with this you get 100% and it really opens up the truck like the throttle response is day and night On all my trucks I’m running Gibson cat back exhausts and airaid cold air intakes When I stomp on it She sounds like a screaming banchi Don’t just read the reviews they don’t do it any justice You need to try it your self Also I have no affiliation with the company I buy everything at my own expense and rate them the company and I have no contract or contact Just putting that out there I bought three units so far Glad I did

I put this on my 4.8 Sierra, and I'm very happy with that decision. My truck was an absolute dog before installing the Pedal Commander. I could stomp the pedal to the floor from a stop, and the truck felt and sounded like an old, gutless 4 barrel carburetor bogging out. Very disappointing. The change in throttle response with the Pedal Commander is awesome and immediate, it's like getting a new truck, seriously. I played around with the different settings, and ultimately found the one that I liked, I have it set at Sport, +2. I tried the Sport+ settings, and they were just too sensitive for daily driving in my opinion. Some YouTube videos and some online reviews have reported that this will randomly throw your vehicle in "limp mode". I have not experienced that, or any problem since installing this on my truck. Maybe they were playing with the settings while their vehicle was moving, I don't know. I have only ever adjusted the settings while the truck is stopped, and I've had zero issues whatsoever. The bottom line is that this product works great, and in no way do I regret buying it.

I tested the Pedal Commander PC65 on my 2011 GMC Sierra and overall, I’m very pleased with its performance and build quality. Performance & Modes: This throttle response controller offers multiple modes, allowing you to tailor the accelerator's sensitivity to your driving needs. I primarily use the "economy" mode—which requires holding the button for 2–3 seconds to activate—as it significantly improves fuel efficiency (I’ve seen consumption drop to about 11L/100km on my Sierra 1500). In economy mode, you need to press the accelerator more deeply to boost the RPM, which promotes smoother and more gradual acceleration, ideal for conserving fuel. However, when I floor the accelerator to pass another vehicle or tackle a steep hill, the truck’s behavior becomes a bit odd. The kickdown engages briefly and then disengages immediately, causing a noticeable jolt in the transmission. To achieve a proper kickdown, I have to manually switch to the "city" mode. I also found that I don’t use the other modes because they’re too aggressive—a light press can send the truck into rapid acceleration, which isn’t ideal for everyday driving. Installation & Control: The installation process was impressively straightforward—it took me about 5 minutes. You simply disconnect your accelerator, plug in the module, and then reconnect the accelerator to the T-connector. It’s essential to secure the wires after installation so that they don’t interfere with pedal operation. Although the module can be controlled via a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone app, I prefer using the physical buttons directly on the unit for simplicity. Build & Value: The Pedal Commander PC65 is well-designed and robust, offering clear benefits in terms of fuel savings and customizable throttle response. The price is a bit on the higher side, but its performance and ease of installation make it a worthwhile investment for drivers who want to optimize their driving experience. Pros: Multiple adjustable modes to suit different driving conditions Economy mode offers significant fuel savings Easy installation process (around 5 minutes) Option for smartphone control, though physical buttons are effective Improves throttle response, allowing for smoother or more aggressive acceleration based on your selection Cons: Kickdown behavior in economy mode can be unpredictable when maximum acceleration is needed Other aggressive modes may be too sensitive for daily driving Slightly higher price point compared to some alternatives In summary, the Pedal Commander PC65 has enhanced my driving experience by allowing precise control over the throttle response of my GMC Sierra. While there are a few quirks—especially regarding kickdown performance in certain situations—it remains a solid, well-built product that delivers the fuel efficiency and performance improvements I was looking for. I’d recommend it to anyone interested in fine-tuning their vehicle’s throttle behavior.

I have purchased 2 pedal commanders, one for my 2014. Jeep Wrangler works very well and one for my 2018 GMC 2500 HD. I loved it in the 2500 until it stopped working approximately 3 months after insulation. Out of the blue 1 day I went to pull out from a light normal driving and my truck would not accelerate. I was able to get it to my mechanic. Thankfully, I was close. They put the truck on diagnostics found no errors with the truck. He plugged pedal commander back into the truck and it would not accelerate. I have emailed and emailed. Pedal commander keeps asking the same questions. Asking for the same documents over and over. I keep sending the information until they wear you out. You're not getting anywhere, and you feel totally scammed and defeated. If it works, that's great. But if it does not work, do not expect any respect or customer service from this company. Just a huge waste of time and money. It is like new in the box if someone has the time to go around and around with pedal commander.

OK here is the scoop. I read lots of posts about how this is just a gimmick. One even said to just press your gas pedal harder and it will do the same thing. Well I had to find out for myself. Installed it on a 2011 Silverado with the 5.3 engine. I have always hated the throttle response of this truck because it felt so under powered especially when you pulled hills. It woke this bad boy up! After several tries I settled on City plus 2 setting and it is perfect. It feels like a completely different truck. It now feels just like the old throttle cable gas pedals of the past. Instant throttle response. A word of caution. Be very careful and do not set at performance level when raining. It will spin back tires just barely pressing pedal. Pricey for sure but it made enough difference to me to be worth it. It was easy to install. Just hard to get under dash to plug in cables. Buy it. You will not regret it.
