Excellent for telescope lenses
The inside foam is customizable and will allow strangely shaped items to be fully protected. The case is very sturdy and the plastic is thick and durable. I bought my first one to hold all of my telescope parts and when I bought more parts, I bought a second case to hold them. Well worth the money!

Great for a mac mini when traveling in car.
I use this to transport mac mini when traveling via automobile. It fits very well - you just remove foam blocks to get a custom fit and it offers great protection.

DON'T PLUCK UP YOUR NEW CASE....
If you are new to foam plucking, DON'T.... At 30 bucks a pop for a new foam set, the pictures show a good way to carefully remove the foam in total blocks so as to be able to modify any pluckouts to fit new or modified gear. 1. Lay out all the equipment on the foam and do not crowd, leaving a 2 foam block around the perimeter. 2. Mark the outline of the item on the foam corner to be removed, removing one additional block if too tight of fit. 3. Using a small straight edge ruler, gently push down on the perimeter of the foam blocks to loosen. 4. Gently pry out the whole block of foam - AND SAVE.... I was deciding between this 16 inch case and the smaller 13 inch case and as you can see in the final layout, the available space is filled fairly quickly. With three lenses, a couple of filters, three Barlows, a flip mirror,a star diagonal, and an ASI224MC camera and USB3 cable, there is a bit of additional space remaining for a few more items. The quality, fit and finish rivals the Pelican case but for a lot less cash with which to spend on more gear. I can't speak on the "water-tightness", but, the perimeter seal is very good with secure latching that is not that difficult to open. Overall, I'm glad I bought this 16 inch case and happy with the quality....

Built Like a Tank!
These cases are as sturdy as Pelican cases but at a much more reasonable cost. The latches, handle and hinge are heavy duty too. I use them with custom laser cut foam inside for telescope optics and camera lenses. I plan to buy a few of the smaller sizes to hold other telescope accessories. You will appreciate the quality and sturdiness of these cases. They should last for many years!

Very Durable
Got this to store some Church livestream equipment. The case seems to be durable and came with padding that can be cut to size. Only regret so far is that upon registering this product on the official website, I noticed there is an option to get the case with the church logo. Would have been a nice touch if Amazon had the option.

This is really nice
It has a nice heft to it, there's zero wiggle that I have noticed. The round knobs at the front is an airlock/air intake mechanism, I don't use it, but maybe it gives an outlet for air when you're closing it (which may not be necessary actually), I have no reason to doubt that when closed it'll be water tight to some extent. The square pegs of foam (when you get the foam insert), I can't remember if it's included (check the listing) comes out easily and cleanly. I save the square pegs in a plastic bag in case I want to reconfigure the cavities (no clue how well it will work). The latches are very sturdy and close with 'certainty'. Those silver things are for padlocks (which I haven't used), I appreciate the addition . It's hard plastic that doesn't feel cheap and the sides don't sink with pressure. One day, I may print a sticker with "Olympus" on it since I use it gor camera gear, to cover that "Eylar" branding, or Not. The hinges are impressive and honestly, I can't think of anything I would improve... oh, my camera extends above tge foam by about a cm and I have no worries because of the foam insert on the top lid with the villi shape. It's just impressive, was worth the money imo, just take note of the internal dimensions to see if it will suit your needs. I just arranged my stuff on top of a piece of paper that I cut to the inner dimensions and it just worked.

Me encanta la caja para protejer la camara en viajes largos o viajes donde hay mucha maleta que pueden golpear las camaras
