Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very good grease

Major Problem: New cartridge design (late 2024 & 2025) has multiple failure points. The switch was from metal components to plastic components (both end caps and the tube itself are now plastic). Problem #1. Plastic pull tab breaks off before end cap is removed - you will need a knife to cut out the end cap. Problem #2. Plastic tube has plastic retaining flange that is too soft and allows tube to be pulled into grease gun - you will have to disassemble gun. Problem #3. Large air voids were present in tube causing grease application failure repeatedly - you will replace cartridges much more frequently The manufacturer (Lucasoil dot com) is scrambling to fix the issues. Unfortunately, in our case, they refuse to refund purchase or provide a viable replacement. The grease itself is just fine, but the cartridges are only partially filled and using them is totally unworkable. Not recommended.

Opening one of these is a miserable experience vs the old style. Takes longer, makes a lot of trash, and messier. I hope Lucas brings back the older style.

I hate the new plastic tubes, pull tab is hard to rip, you end up spilling grease all over your self, also there's a lip in the tube wich makes it impossible to screw the grease cartridge to the gun itself. Really bad design, should of never changed from the cardboard tubes with metal tab.
