A must for baseball players who slide
My 15-yo son always had a scraped up knee during baseball season that he kept tearing open over and over again despite bandages or turf tape. This knee pad finally put a stop to that! He does say he has to adjust it every so often, but he says it is comfortable and never plays without it. I just throw it in the wash with his uniform and air-dry and it comes clean and has kept its elasticity.

Kneesavers
I play softball and these are great for protecting the knees when diving or hitting the ground hard when fielding. I have been using them for 10 years. Great product!

Works for volleyball with some help
Tried these on their own for volleyball, too thin, insufficient. However, they work great as a base with a more traditional knee pad on top. They provide a little bit of cushion to help, and prevent the sliding of the larger knee pads.

Only the White is larger
Looks like only the white one is a larger size. Longer and more circumference. Circumference on all colors is 5.25 where white is 8.27. At least that is what the measurements state in the description. The black was way to tight for me. Bottom of my quad is 16 inches and top of my calf is 18 inches if that helps when determining size.Waiting for White to arrive to test fit.Update - White fits better than the colored versions. Still snug but not uncomfortable or constricting. Going where around the house for a few days to stretch out. Will try out in game soon.Update 2 - Wore whole game and forgot I was wearing it. Didn't constrict running. Get white if you need a larger size.

Works for basketball
My female student athlete loved these for basketball. Much better than the lumpy basketball pads.

A must for avid baseball and softball players
I bought this for my son. He was playing high school baseball and got a bad strawberry on his knee. As people who play know, once you get one, it's almost impossible to get it to heal. Each time you slide, you break it back open. Sometimes they don't heal until after the season is over. Wearing the pad under his baseball pants, the scrape was able to heal and eventually he was able to stop using it. I wore shorts when I played softball and used one of these all of the time to avoid getting scrapes.

Perfect for pickleball
After twenty years of volleyball, diving and rolling come very naturally to me. Now I play pickleball, and my nickname is "dustmop" because I'm still diving and rolling and generally putting my knee down on low digs. Despite all my training and practice, I'd still get scrapes on my knees sometimes. My old set of pads worked OK on indoor surfaces, but on asphalt friction would still get transferred to my knee through the material so I had quite a collection of scrapes. Since I got these pads, not one. Knees are almost back to normal, after maybe a hundred contacts on both surfaces. The inner lining provides an extra layer that will move before your skin has to, and the fact that it's smooth means that even in the worst case it's better than the rough outer material. Whoever designed this clearly knew what's needed.

single thickness of thin neoprene
This is the knee pad for you if you want larger coverage and no slippping down. It's long. This allows you to put quite a bit of it above your knee cap. Positioning the "hourglass" part of the pad centered it on my knee cap and it didn't slip down. The pad is a single layer of neoprene. The single layer didn't shift my knee cap around as i went down on the knee. The down side is that this layer is thin. So you'll need to make the decision if this is enough thickness for you. It might not be if you tend to go down hard.I also didn't realize these are single, not pair.
