Dyson V7 lost power after hardly any use. I worked out it was the battery, but Dyson were out of stock. This was half the price, came with 2 spare filters and as long as you can use a screwdriver is dead simple to install. The vacuum now works better than before and considering my wife was about to order a new Shark this has saved us more than a hundred pounds. How could it have been better? The only thing missing was the option to recycle the old battery.

After contacting Dyson and confirming issue was battery failure, I checked online reviews to see if ageneric battery would be a suitable alternative. Very happy with this one, easy to swap, first full charge took a while and now it is charging perfectly and the power is as good if not better than original. Also comes with spare filters at no extra cost.

Battery was easy to fit and works well, can't comment on the battery life as we have only had it a few weeks , fingers crossed it will last longer than the one we bought from someone else before.

I have been using it for a while now, full charge gives mixed use (high & low suck) of about 20 minutes, better than the original. Beware there are THREE screws for the removal of the old battery. Easy to install. As per a previous reviewer the new unit is a bit awkward to remove from the charger assembly, just go easy on it. I assume it will free up over time. The spare filters look identical to the original and install perfectly, the brush/roller hair cutter is a handy tool.

Replaced my old Dyson battery which lasted about 1 minute before stopping even after a full charge. This one lasts about 5 minutes max. Others have said it lasts 20 to 25 minutes, which sounds like complete nonsense Update. I was contacted directly by the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement battery as they said my original may be faulty ( offered my refund as an alternative) … top notch service, so I have updated my rating accordingly.

Doesn't fit properly to the charger

Easy to install, 3 screws, fits nicely in the dock ,came with filter and a very handy safety knife with a brush on the end to clean the roller brush, i gave the device a good clean and replaced the filter left it to charge fully, and upon using, it was very satisfied. It felt as new, if not better!

The battery in my dyson wouldn’t charge fully. I did have cover but ran out a couple of months ago. So purchased a new one . Not a dyson battery ,too expensive, prompt delivery,easy to fit,used twice now everything seems ok. Charging up fine ,hopefully will last for 2 yrs at least.
