Outstanding nut extractor set! A must in every DIYer to auto professional!
I can't speak more highly, about this Rocketsocket set. I used it for removing stripped and twisted bolts. Works great! Recently had to remove a oil plug that the damn auto dealer tightened with an impact wrench. Folks you're not supposed to tighten an oil plug that much!!! Needless to say, when I attempted to remove it, the bolt was rounded. Now I used a standard wrench not an impact driver and the bolt was toast. Luckily I had the Rocketsocket extractor set already on standby. I did have to wait to order a NEW oil plug from the dealer because they ultimately screwed this up. I will never go to a dealer to do anything anymore. Anyways, this is an awesome set to use. I recommend using a heavy mallet to tap the extractor onto the bolt a standard hammer doesn't have enough weight to drive it through the stripped bolt. Highly recommended and will use again and again.

They are not the least expensive brand, but they work great and are very well made.
I bought these to get an unusual seat belt bolt removed from a 1970's vintage Fiat. There was a decent amount of rust involved, and the head of the bolt was very short, which meant everything wanted to slip on it. With these and a little electric impact gun, it blew it right out. I've used it on smaller (10mm) rusted fasteners, and today a friend borrowed it to get a big TBelt idler pulley grade 10 bolt removed from a V6 Toyota. Every time it just works where other solutions have not. The tools are well-made. Very high quality materials, and they look as good as anything that Matco or Snap-On would put out. They also do not be appearing to picking up any appreciable wear from use thus far. It's one of those products that sounds a little too good to be true, but it's the real deal. Good tools are never cheap, and you won't be sorry.

Works excellent for my needs. Grabs rusted nut/stud does NOT slip off.
I finally had the opportunity to use these. I need to remove completely rusted and corroded nuts from exhaust flange studs and the rust has unified the fastener. A normal 12mm socket was not fitting, and an 11mm hammered on also slipped. Bah. I remembered I had these hidden away in a tool cart, got them out and found a suitable size. I hammered the special socket onto the nut and it would only get on half way with limited clearance to swing a hammer, so I went for it. First attempt and it did NOT slip off, I broke the stud with the nut still on it. As expected, but it gets me to where I need to be, removing the exhaust. I'll make the permanent fastener repairs later, but this tool saved me. Didn't use any heat because this nut is one piece with the stud anyway, it's going to break off, so be it.

High quality
I bought this set awhile ago and added it to my collection of bolt extractors. I used it today and realized it's much higher quality than my other sets. This broke some rusted oil pan bolts after I welded a larger nut onto them. When I welded the nuts on I got weld all over the place and a socket would no longer fit the nut. I pounded whatever size extractor seemed to fit onto the distorted nut and removed several awful bolts. This set saved the day.

It works
I saw this product tested on Project farm, so I bought it. I have never regretted it. It works awesome, It's Made in the USA and it's high quality material and if you have a stuck nut or Bolt this sucker will get it off. It seems rather pricey, but I guarantee you the first time it saves your bacon when you have a rounded off Bolt you won't think about that few extra dollars. I don't mind paying for quality, I just get irritated when I pay for quality and I get junk. This is exactly as advertised, and I highly recommend it to anyone. I don't say this lightly either, I appreciate it when others give honest reviews so I can make an informed decision, I think that's how we hold these companies accountable.

Awesome!
I have tried many removal products that do no work as advertised. This product thankfully is not like that! I am going to get work to buy the larger set!! Awesome product!

They actually worked!
I hate to admit it, but I'm more inclined to leave negative reviews then positive ones. But in this case I feel compelled to leave a positive review. It was a simple job: remove two bolts to replace a sway bar bushing on my SUV. Except the 14mm bolt head had all but rusted away, and it was located in a confined location. So, out came the 14mm Rocket Socket. Nope, the bolt head is too far gone. I tried hammering on a couple smaller ones, but no luck. Crap, that was a waste of money! But isn't this a positive review? Fast forward a couple weeks. I had a friend try to weld a nut to the head of the bolt, but it didn't work out. So I decided to turn to the Rocket Sockets one more time. I gave the bolt head a few good whacks with a hammer and punch, hoping that, along with the heat from the welder, would break the bolt loose. There's no way the 14mm was going to grab, so I went down a couple sizes and pounded that baby onto the bolt head. I gave it a little turn and I thought the socket was just slipping, but—lo and behold—the bolt actually moved! Once I got a turn or two out of the bolt I moved up to a bigger size, and finally to the 14mm, each time pounding the Rocket Socket onto the bolt. It took some experimenting and finesse, but I was finally successful. What a relief! I'm thankful I added these to my toolbox!

I've only used this tool a couple of times on rounded off 14mm bolts and it worked great. This kit doesn't include 15mm which is strange. Today I actually need a 15mm for a damaged shock Absorber nut. I've tried buying a 15mm but can not find one that's made by ROCKETSOCKET.
