This is my first time trying out Elixir strings and they are the BEST. They might feel a bit slippery at first but after about 10 minutes they feel great. The tone is really bright, definitely better than Ernie Ball’s for sure. They make you move up and down the fretboard more easily, making you play a bit faster, this might be just me, but i don’t know. The bending is little harder because of the coating but i like to put a little oomph in my bends. TOP quality strings, definitely worth the extra money. I recommend these to anyone who has sweaty hands or whoever likes a bit of jangly tone. I hear that their string life is pretty long, and i’ve only been playing for a day so i’ll update you all.

The only set of coated strings I will even consider using. I usually hate coated strings, but these seem to hold a clarity that the others don't. I keep these on all my guitars that I don't use regularly. So if I pull them put I know they won't need a restring straight away.
