Good for chicks
They work well. They stretch a lot so it's easy to get them on, but helps to have a second person. They do not seem like they would last a long time if they were used permanently on smaller birds, but that's just my gut. I had them on chicks for about a month and they seemed more brittle but could still have gone a while. I ended up cutting them off, their feet were too big to get through and the band would just snap when I tried to fit the foot through. So reusability is probably limited. But overall they are great.

Great
I have 29 varieties of chicks this year so this has been a total help for me. I ordered all 3 sizes and the large is my go-to for most of my chicks. They are good quality and can be re-used and there is a nice selection of colors and they have the "perfect" stretch to them. I forgot to take the band off one of my chicks when he outgrew them and it didn't hurt the chick at all and expanded enough to grow with him until I caught it. If you have multiple chicks like I do I strongly recommend getting all 3 sizes like I did. The Large will be too big for most newborns and the small was just too small for even my Silkies but fit my Seramas good. The only varieties that fit the large as newborns was my Sanjacks & OShamos but they are HUGE chickens so that was to be expected. I used the Mediums on my Silkies so all 3 sizes are good to keep around and this brand is my new favorite.*If this review helped you please let me know by hitting the Helpful button. Thanks!*

Very useful and easy to use
I'm new to this whole banding chick thing and have just started banding yesterday. Love the different colors so I can tell the sex, breeds, which coop they are going in and whether or not im keeping or selling, or whatever you want to use the different colors for. Easy to put on and take off, the colors are vibrant, durable from what i can tell and love there are options to buy different sizes. Only wish there was blue in the mix but grateful for the multi colors in one package instead of having to buy multiple packages with different colors. I would recommend trying these out before buying anything else.

Almost ideal
These are nice and stretchy and go on without traumatizing chicks. They come off even easier, however, and can be removed by the chicks. One went unfound, which makes me think it was eaten. Installing them in the first 24 hours after hatch reduces the inclination to peck or pull at them.

Good for 2-4 week old chicks
Fit: The size was perfect for our Marans, Cream Legbars, and crosses during the transitional 2–4 week age.Functionality: They helped us track breeds easily and quickly.Size: Just right—not too tight, not too loose.Color: Bright and easy to spot, which made sorting chicks fast and reliable.Value for money: You get a lot for the price, and the quantity lasts a while.Just keep an eye on growing legs—it's important to check daily and remove or resize to prevent injury.

Easy on, but easy off
Easy to slip on if you can stop the chicks from struggling. Had to be gentle not to snap the band against their legs though. Their one flaw is that they kept slipping off my new-hatched chick feet. The bands would probably stay, but I saw the chicks peck them off each other when they stretched out their legs.I'll have to identify the chicks in other ways.

Get LARGE!
Great for young chicks but they grow out of them fast. Had to switch to the had plastic ones at 6 weeks.
