Q: Does it feel really premium?

Depends on your definition of premium. It definitely feels sturdy. I usually have the strap across my chest like a messenger bag. This is more comfortable, but results in more tension in the strap itself. Even though it was a tighter fit, the design of the strap is such that it is evenly distributed and is not painful in anyway. I also did not see any stitching looking like it might fail. Mind you I shoot with a Canon AE-1 Program (film camera) and it is heavier than a typical DSLR. In my opinion, this is a worthy camera strap.

Q: Is the tacky camera pin removable?

I have the tan and white weave. Camera pin is barely noticeable because its brass and camouflages with the tan and white. I think it can be removed but will leave a small puncture in the strap.

Yes, it can be used for Canon EOS RP with the metal triangles included.
