Baby Poultry Leg Bands 1/4" Medium Chick (100)

The media could not be loaded. This is a great product. I don't have a complaint. 5 stars so far. The *Medium* size bands are perfect for standard size day old chicks. Mine pictured here are Easter Eggers. This would've been helpful info for me to have when ordering, so I want others to have this info so they don't have to wander if they will fit their chicks. They have good stretch and easy to put on with one person/hand. Thick, durable, and not easily broken. They stretch over the chicks feet plenty fine. 4 colors. I had 4 different color eggs, so the 4 colors were perfect for me to keep track of which chicks went with which egg. I just put the bands on them when they were dry, before they went into the brooder. I will update how old the chicks are when/if they grow out of them to go up to the next size. They will stretch with the chicks, but I'm not comfortable with allowing them to be taught on the skin.

The product i recieved was exactly as pictured i bought these for my week old chickens and they fit perfectly. They have great stretch. It's a good value buy for the price. They were very easy to put on.

Size Medium was perfect for my day old ducklings but they were snug by day 5. For ducklings I would skip these & just get the XL.Pics show on 3 day-old, 5-day old, then size comparison of med & xlOther than that, great product. Easy to put on, easy to remove

Which there were more color options but they serve their purpose well. I was trying to mark which chicks came out of which colored eggs. But since blue wasn’t an option I had to use purple, things like that. They still got the job done and the color options didn’t affect how well they worked - the job got done. Color complaint was just my preference.

Like the idea but they started coming off after a week or two on the chicks and it caused us to loose track of what chicks were from what breeding lines. We found several broken bands on the ground.

I'm new to this whole banding chick thing and have just started banding yesterday. Love the different colors so I can tell the sex, breeds, which coop they are going in and whether or not im keeping or selling, or whatever you want to use the different colors for. Easy to put on and take off, the colors are vibrant, love there are options to buy different sizes. Only wish there was blue in the mix. Love that there is multiple colors in one pack instead of having to buy several packs with one color in each. I would recommend giving these a try.

I bought these thinking they would work great. Well the chicks grow so fast that they get small really fast. I hatch out 200 to 300 chicks so it did not work for me. If you only have a few chicks it may work out better.
