Got these in yesterday after replacing the post months ago. The old metal plate numbers were in bad shape and couldn't be saved, and I put off getting a nice address plaque made. For now, getting numbers put on the box needed to happen and these fit the requirements I had in size and reflectivity. Located at the end of a dead end road, so wanted to make it easier to find the address if there's any emergency. They're much easier to install than people have mentioned. The backing is longer than the front so it separates and peels off easily. The plastic overlay sheet helps align the numbers when installing, then you peel the plastic cover off as well, leaving only the adhesive number. It also peels off easily, but is also fully adhesive - it didnt look like it would stay adhered well if not removed. I saw many leave that clear plastic top layer on, but wanted it to look cleaner and those installs seemed prone to failure. The numbers even installed fairly well on the front of the box that isn't a smooth surface. That may not last, but time will tell. A heat gun may help, but don't have one. Looks great after install, now only thing to do is wait and see how they hold up.

Review of Reflective Mailbox Numbers Sticker Decal Die Cut Classic Style Vinyl Waterproof Number Self Adhesive 5 Sets (3" x 3 set, 4" x 2 set) for Signs, Door, Cars, Trucks, Home, Business, Address Number I ordered these for a new mailbox I am having installed. I needed some bigger numbers for the post portion and the smaller numbers for the mailbox. My house number only has 3 digits, so I have plenty of numbers left over. They are very reflective. I had some difficulty in separating a few of the numbers from their backings. They seem to adhere very well. They are probably waterproof, but time will tell as to how well they stand up to the elements. Comes with a squeegee to help placement.

I bought these to use as part of my mailbox "refresh" project. I spray painted the mailbox black, purchased a new flag (also from Amazon) and I needed to replace the address numbers. Of course, there are very few options at the local hardware/home improvement store, so I turned to Amazon for a solution. These are exactly what I needed (size-wise) and it was a nice surprise to see that multiple sheets of numbers are included in the package. These were very easy to install (each number is on its own backing sheet) which makes it easy to space them appropriately. Visibility at night is great. This was a quick install and nice finishing touch to my mailbox project. So glad I found these!

Perfect for my mailbox, easy to peel... See photo with flash and without flash, perfect. Use a piece of blue tape so you can have a guide, think of the spacing before you stick because it's not coming off lol

Good product

Numbers are extremely difficult to peel off the film from the back of the number. Finally used a piece of tape for the front and another for the backing to separate them. Kind of a pain to align (the #1 was always crooked). What looked like it should have taken 15 minutes ended up taking an hour (just to put the house numbers on my mailbox).
