I just finished applying it to a new deck and it appears really dirty where people walk. What do I do?

My house is part of a condo association and they applied this product to my deck a few years ago and I couldn't walk on it for six weeks. I finally had the entire deck sanded and Australian Timber Oil applied again by an independent contractor which came out beautifully and was trouble free. I have since applied it myself several times and have never had a problem. It sounds to me that it is not being wiped soon enough after it is applied which will create problems. I like the product and plan to continue using it.

There are two versions of this product, one is water clean up, the other is oil based and paint thinner is used for brush clean-up. Which version?

Paint thinner would be used for water-based clean up, and mineral spirits are used for oil-based clean up. Water-based products will hold up better in humid or climates that get more rainfall. Oil-based products will hold up better in dry climates.

Does the Natural have a matte Finish?

This product is not a matte finish .I would describe it as a semi gloss I have used it for several years on my deck ,it is by far the best product I have found .
