The Water Bottle That Paid for Itself
I absolutely love this bottle. We travel a lot, and water never tastes the same from place to place. At our condo in Maui, the tap water has a heavy chlorine taste, and this bottle completely eliminates it. In fact, the filtered water tastes better than most bottled water. Because of that, we’ve nearly stopped buying bottled water altogether. The build quality is solid, BPA-free, and easy to clean. At 26 ounces, it’s the right size for exercise, road trips, or just keeping on hand throughout the day. I originally bought one for myself, but after my wife borrowed mine once, I had no choice but to buy her one too. The real kicker is the savings. The filter lasts for approximately 40 gallons, which translates to roughly 200 standard 26-ounce bottles. Doing the math, that’s about $70 saved every time you change the filter, not to mention the plastic waste you avoid. That makes this bottle practical, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective all at once. Pros: Removes chlorine taste completely Water tastes better than bottled water Replaces about 300 single-use bottles Filters last 2 months or 40 gallons Saves serious money over time Cons: Slightly bulky for small purses or tiny cup holders Must remember to replace the filter regularly Does not remove all contaminants Summary: This Brita bottle has become a travel essential and a daily go-to. The taste is excellent, the savings are real, and it’s one of the easiest ways to cut back on plastic waste and save real money.

A wonderful water bottle
You know you really have to watch the water that we drink anymore and with this Brita one I mean you can fill it up and use it for about 40 times and then you can change the filter in it and it's it's wonderful it's a lot cheaper than buying bottled water I'll tell you that and we're having problems with our landfills and etc so this is one of the best things you can do

Excellent for travel - strong enough to make ORD, LAX, and ATL airport water drinkable
I travel a lot for work and hate paying $7 for a bottle of water in the airport but let's be honest, the drinking fountain water can smell and taste terrible....ORD, LAX, ATL...you know it's stinky. I really like this filtered water bottle. It fits into all my backpacks, has a convenient handle across the top, and it really works. It doesn't keep water cold but that doesn't bother me. And in order to fill it, you need to remove the filter straw and that can drip a little but I think it's an easy tradeoff for having good tasting water no matter where you go. As a side note, I have only used this with potable water.

Clean, easy to use, so beneficial
Worked great for airport used and while traveling from England and France. Only issue I had was that once I was in the air and opened it for the first time and exploded on me. I had to water. I was able to drink the tapwater in London. Amazing. No more searching for places to purchase high priced water. I think if I could do it over again, I would buy the insulated one that my friend had. But that was my bad. This one is great.

Great water bottle for college and peace of mind
This has been my go to water bottle for the past two years. I got it during Prime Day and it makes me feel so much better about using tap water in college. It holds a lot of water (enough to usually last me for most of the day and has been easy to clean. I like how its designed to fit in my cup holders and backpack side pockets, plus the handle makes it easy to carry. I've gotten it in two colors and the quality has held up.

Saves on plastic
This is the third of these bottles that I have purchased. I wanted one that was a smaller size that would fit in my cupholder because the larger size one is too big. I like these water bottles with the filter because there isn’t always filtered water available. And, it saves on plastic drinking bottles. I don’t think these are meant as survival filters, but more for filtering tapwater when filtered water isn’t available. The bottle itself is durable and installing the filter is easy. I also find that I drink more water when I carry this around and keep it with me. I have no issues with the taste of water through the filter. It taste fine to me.

Great for travel
I just love these bottles when I travel. I like the extra protection. Just make sure you completely disassemble the bottle and run it through the dishwasher every week or so. I just set the cartridge filter aside if it’s not time to change it out and reuse it. The straw part will grow black mold if you don’t.

Great for filtering out sulfur taste of tap water in Florida resorts.
Bought this for resort trip to Florida. Helped filter out the sulfur taste in the tap water. Easy to open and close lid with one hand. Little handle is kind of annoying because it is so short. Other than that, great bottle.

Very well built, works great. When traveling I worry about the quality of the water in some hotels and that's why I bought this.

My filter came broken in half, frustrating because the filters are more expensive than the actual bottle

The water bottle has a small carbon filter activated by sucking on the straw. It's a nice, personal size, not too heavy and easy to refill and wash. The instructions were a bit difficult to understand so I watched a video on youtube and it was easy to give everything a wash and set up. My only concern is that the water tastes like plastic. According to the literature, this is supposed to replace plastic bottled water, so I don't know if this would be a flaw for most people. But it's been nearly 10 years since I drank anything out of plastic, so I was shocked by how synthetic the bottle made my water taste. It is made of plastic, so I suppose that is to be expected. But still, I am going to knock off one star for this because the literature promises that the filter will remove unpleasant tastes. I guess it's the compromise between an unbreakable lightweight container and having to drink plastic.
