Speakers sound great, at least better than stock. installed as dash speakers on a 2023 forester with HKarman sound system. simple install, fits like stock. there is no plug adapter available, I had to cut my wires.

Replaced the small speaker in the door of a 2003 Silverado with these speakers. Requires some plastic trimming but the look and sound great.

I installed them on my 2024 RAV4 XLE to replace the stock dash tweeters, used a RED WOLF Car Front Dash Tweeter Speaker Wiring Harness to hook up to the existing connection, didnt need to flip or reverse polarities, worked right out of the box.I did adjust the EQ since the treble was too much and the mids needed a boost which I changed with the settings on the center display.Just look how huge the speaker looks in comparison to the OEM one

Great price and easy to install- EXCEPT- the wiring. If they came with plug-and-play pigtails, it would be a 5-minute install. HOWEVER- you need to cut the factory end and splice the aftermarket wires in. You get to work with, oh I don't know, about 3/16" wires to work with. Turns into a 45-minute install. The sound quality is worth it, but better wiring provided would be nice.

Always disliked imbalanced audio systems in cars so soon after I installed a 10" in my '18 Rav4, I decided to replace some of the stock speakers to try to keep up with the new volume. I've had kicker subs going way back and always appreciated the quality so I decided to give their speakers a try.These 3.5"s are perfect for my application. They fit in the stock spots on the dash in my 2018 Rav4. I did find out you need a wiring harness set of connects or you can cut the 4 wires, link both similar color wires together and run them to each terminal with spade connectors.They are LOUD. Very much capable of hitting the high frequencies that ensure the voices, high hats, chimes and other high frequency parts of songs not get lost in the bass. I would agree with the reviews that they can be ear piercing so if you like to listen to music loud, make sure you only purchase these if you have a equalizer auxiliary or built into your head unit so you can adjust the frequencies to avoid this issue. That being said, i couldn't recommend them enough. Superb clarity. I listen to them pretty loud on my daily commute and in the few months I've had them, I've had zero issues with clipping.

I got these based on the cost and some of the better reviews. I needed to replace the terrible 2.5” full range speakers in my Subaru Legacy with Harman Kardon system. These fit with some massaging of the dash holes. However, (as you would expect) the factory amp was tuned for the awful speakers and made these sound terrible. Not their fault, so the amp was replaced so that I could tune the sound.Now for the proper review. These are very efficient - much louder than the 2 ohm drivers they replaced. They are also very loud in the mid to high range. The tweeter is very loud and not well balanced with the woofer. Piercingly loud. I tried to EQ them down, but the EQ setting was like falling off a cliff above 3kHz. So, I padded the tweeter down by cutting the tweeter wire and inserting a 2.7 ohm resistor in series. This made them far more livable. Still a bit loud in the 3-5kHz range, but able to be EQ’d now.If I had to do it again, I’d dig deeper than the reviews and pick something more focused on sound quality. Something with a soft dome tweeter and a better crossover network.
