How much does this converter hold compaired to the z24 and the normal ink cartriges?

Unfortunately I've never owned a z24 or used a normal ink cartridge. I installed the LZ26 as soon as I bought it. I used it with Noodlers Black 3oz. I have refilled 14 times since owning the product. I will say I have another year+ worth of ink and I used my pen daily, to write scripts for multimedia timelines and drawing.

Will this work with the Al-Star?

Yes it will, but somewhat loose. I would not recommend for the all star or safari no reason for it use the z24 . It just looks much better than the z24 in the vista and works just fine. I own 5 all star pens and a vista. Do a search on the internet and you will find the same answer as mine. Good luck Lamy pens are great I draw with them all the time.

What's the difference between this and the Lamy Z27?

according to Goulet pens, it is the same thing. https://www.gouletpens.com/lamy-z27-cartridge-converter/p/LMY-LZ27 I use it for my Lamy Logo. The converter for the Lamy Safari is the z28. it has two tiny bilateral nubs that snap into the slots on the screw in flange of the nib grip
