Q: I have seen, several complaints on the internet about the top shaft having soft steel, with accelerated bearing wear. Is this still the case?

I have not had any issues, i have used mine daily.

Q: Has the trinocular port been improved or does it still spin and have aberration when used with a camera?

I have a camera mounted on my scopw and don't have an issue with movement.

Q: Does this model sm 4tpz come with a camera to shoot microscope view to lcd monitor or is the camera sold separately?

No it does not. SM-4TPZ is basically the base model number for this scope and the boom stand. If you want one with additional accessories, it is usually incorporated into the part number. Such as SM-4TPZ-FLR-3M is this scope plus the fluorescent light ring (-FLR) and the 3mega pixel camera (-3M).
