My son has a learning disability and loves colours, I wanted to get him a book that was fairly basic but not babyish, and this book is perfect! It also has thick pages, like a board book but, again, without that babyish feel to it. Each page has a colour and then shows lots of different variations of that colour - I doubt there will be many people looking to buy this book for the same reasons as me (i.e a colour loving 14 year old boy with special needs) but it is still a lovely book for any child. It is sturdy enough to last a long time (hopefully) and is refreshingly different from all the other books about colours that I looked at. :)

I love this book! My son has a learning disability and loves colours, I wanted to get him a book that was fairly basic but not babyish, and this book is perfect! It also has thick pages, like a board book but, again, without that babyish feel to it. Each page has a colour and then shows lots of different variations of that colour - I doubt there will be many people looking to buy this book for the same reasons as me (i.e a colour loving 14 year old boy with special needs) but it is still a lovely book for any child. Love the simplicity of this book. Each page with is varying hues of the color are well done and beautiful. The last page is my granddaughter’s favorite with all the colors as objects.
