How do you assemble and install? There are no directions

Take one of the screw hooks and on a step ladder, screw one into the ceiling of your garage in the area where your windshield would be when you park the car. Then thread the string through the black squeeze tool and then run the string through the screw hoop in the ceiling then run the end of the string through the squeeze tool. Go then and park your car to where you want it in your garage. Then adjust the ball up or down, using the squeeze tool to where the ball just makes contact with your windsheild. Presto, your done.

How does the ball raise and lower when the door opens and closes?

Because the ball is mounted further back in the garage, where it will usually touch the windshield when entering the garage, it remains stationary and doesn't move with the garage door.

does this come with instructions?

My order had no written instructions. The ad had a few pictures.

Quick Setup and Works as Expected ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Just got these today, so this is an early review. I only needed one, but the price was low enough that getting the set wasn’t a problem. My garage has no ceiling and a very high roof, but I was able to hang one over a beam with no issues. Setup took less than 15 minutes—unbox, toss it over the beam, adjust the height, and move the car back and forth to fine-tune. So far, so good!

Easy to install…perfect product, all pieces included

Perfect!!! The ball has the string attached with a slide attachment to adjust the length. All you will need is a tall ladder to screw the eye hook into the ceiling. Step ladder will not work unless you are a giant! Two yellow balls are included for a two car garage. The faces painted on, are an added touch!! Loved the product!

One of the Better Options of Parking a Large Vehicle in a Garage

This is my second one of these things. I had the previous one at my old house. I have a large SUV and it is a tight fit getting into my garage. I tried pretty much every other option and always end back up with this one. This is an easy fix to a common issue.The instructions that came with the product were not very good, but I was able to manage (with the help of Youtube). You may have to adjust the ball a few times after you install it to get the perfect positioning of your vehicle like I did. Now, I can pull my truck right in and have the proper spacing for the door to close and and leave enough walking space to get around. I am very happy with this purchase. Who can you not love a smiling happy face greeting you every time you come home?IF you have little children, just be aware that the ball invites them to smack and hit it when the vehicle is not there and they may knock it off of its alignment. I had to have a little talk with my kids so that they understood that it was not a toy and if they knock it off alignment they would have to personally park me every time I came into the garage. I think we are cool now.
