Must have to protect your wires.
Seems to be working great so far. Able to run my spark plug wires under the headers without melting for a much cleaner look. The red is a nice color and not orange like some other cheap ones.

Fits over the stock LS metal heat shrouds
Fit over the stock LS plug boot shields with a little work but do work well. Using stock length wires on an LS running long tube headers and haven't burnt or melted one yet.

damn good lookin
Ford V8 302 heat protection is great, very easy to install just pop the spark plug wire slide on and repeat the fit is perfect. the yellow protectors really look so good and really make the engine look better. Overall great value for money.

Amazing quality!

I'm really glad I ran across these they went on perfectly look great and removed a threat I didn't even think about . They are made well and fit on the boot snug and went on easy.
