Will this fit a 5 year old boy?

It will not. I ordered this, it came and it was WAY to small.

is this big enough for an adult to wear?

No it is not.... it fits my 5 and 7 year old grandsons, but no it is too small for an adult.

What is it made out of? Is it flimsy plastic or heavy foam or rubber or what?

What are the measurements of the mask?

I can't answer the question posed. I sent mine back. Rest assured it is kid size and will not fit an adult.
