Great camp knife
Good solid knife. I’ve used one for the past five years for an introductory outdoor camp for preteens and teens. It held up well for the kind of tasks that they do like, batoning and shaving tinder. It’s a lot better than starting them on a hundred dollar knife.

Excellent for what it is!
Having had one of these, back when I was in high school, I wanted to get another. I can't remember what happened to my former knife, but this brought back some camping memories. Not a big fan of the saw back blade, but I can see it's use. Not a fan of the belt loop. It's the weak link with the sheath. Love the idea, and execution of the "durable, survive the apocalypse" construction! Now let's be honest. This is NOT the best survival, camping, hiking or whatever outdoor knife there is. However, it IS perfect for as a first large sheath knife for a teenager. Learning how to use, and sharpen a large knife, this really fits that nitch. Being inexpensive, it's a great knife to start with. And, as most kids will do, if they loose it...get another!I received this through Nimrod's Wares, of which I paid more because I don't have a Prime account, so I don't get the Prime price. Nimrod's shipped very fast, and I high recommend using them.

Excellent field knife
It’s the standard 81 Glock knife having a clip point blade made of SAE 1095 carbon steel with a hardness of 55 HRC and is electrophoretic coated. The grips and sheaths are made of Glock-polymer. Sturdy and takes an excellent edge. The serrated top edge is more for plunging through hide or material and allows air pockets so the knife won’t get stuck. With this feature a blood groove is not needed. It does have functionality with the serrated portion as well. Would not use the end too much as a pommel but the knife takes a beating and I love the waterproof polymer sheath. Ive used it scuba diving and rinsed throughly. Good fighting knife as well with a more narrow blade and excellent clip point tip. I have several in different colors.

amazing knife!
For 35-45 dollars this is one very nice blade! The root saw is nice if you need to hack small branches, the blade is very sharp, doesn't bend easy, holds edge pretty well. The feel is great in your hand. The back pops off and works as a bayonet for the styr Aug, you can also store minimal things in the back end, like matches or sewing kit, its maybe a 1 1/2 - 2 inch hollow.

Does not fire bullets.
It is of high quality, very sharp , nice sheath. The only minus is that it doesn't shoot bullets. I figured having the glock name on it , that it would have a hidden gun in it or perhaps fire the blade as a projectile. NOPE! just a knife. That being said, it is a great knife. And being below $40. It is a great value.Don't be a dummy like me and assume that it is a gun.

The second one I own
Years ago I had come across a knife testing you tube channel and saw a torture test. The young man doing the test had subjected this knife to some severe torture tests. In watching the video I thought to myself that if this relatively cheap survival knife was able to get through all of that (for the record it eventually failed after several tests. He clamped it into a vice and jumped up and down on it then flipped it over and did it again several times until it eventually snapped. He was easily 450lbs.) I thought that I would never need to subject my knife to that kind of testing. I bought one and have carried it around the whole world several times. It has held up without any issues. During the scamdemic the prices almost doubled. Now that they’ve headed back downward I decided to add a second. I have seen videos that say these can easily be thrown, I figured that I would give it a try.

Nice!
I’ve known guys that spend hundreds on fancy, big name knives that end up being safe queens. Nice to look at, but never get used due to fears of loss or damage. This knife looks good, feels good in the hand, and holds a decent edge. All around good utility blade at a price that won’t make you cry if it gets lost in the woods. Well…. Maybe just a little.
