AccuQuilt GO! Fabric Cutting Dies; Circles

Bought the Go Baby Die Cutter and love it, cuts easily through layers of fabric, this die will certainly make cutting circles out a lot easier. Excellent item and great service from this seller Thank you

This is a great die. I use a lot of circles in my wool applique projects and they are so difficult and time consuming to cut free hand but the die makes perfectly round cuts every time. I use the 2" circle on the die board the most. The only issue with using the die with wool is that the wool fibers get stuffed down into the foam on both sides of the blades so you have to dig it out quite often. I use the Go (non-electric) cutter and find that two layers of wool is all I cut at a time (my wool is pretty thick). If you use thin wool you could easily cut three or four layers at once. I guess it is because of the thickness of the wool but using the die totally eats up the cutting mat. I just cut up 50 wool pennies (circles) and even though I move the mat around with each cut, the mat is so chewed up now that it has little splinters of plastic hanging off of it. (I'll keep using it until it has a hole and then will probably find a way to cut out the bad spots and continue to use the remains. I know...I'm cheap...and I love it!) I've also used this die board for cutting cotton for applique. Since the edges get cut so smoothly, the circles are great for fusible as well as traditional applique. Every time I use a pattern that includes circles, I pull out my measuring tape and figure out what size I nee and then start sorting through my Go dies to find one that will work. It's a great time saver!
