Hi Joe yes I use these all the time the ones with the metal hangers are silent, don’t buy the ones with the moulded plastic hangers they tick annoyingly, also be careful when you buy there are three different shaft sizes, hope this is helpful. Robbie10tea

Aim to have everything point at 12 and start with the hour hand,then minute and seconds hand last. They take a bit to push home into place.
