Lifetime solution for rust belt vehicles
Skill: I am an average motorhead garage warrior, not a pro, but do the tools to do most mech chores. If your fuel lines are rusted badly & leaking, plan on dropping the tank to get the line apart, that is the game changer if you want the job done right. Buy the $10 stainless steel bolt replacement kit to rehang your fuel tank straps. Know that you may have to cut your tank straps to dropt the fuel tank if bolt's inner frame nut backing-plate breaks/spins. I cut bolts but it's not easy to do. You're insane not to replace these with stainless hardware, I speak from experience. I used this Evil Energy kit to eplace my rusted/leaking 2007 Tahoe 5.3L (Flex fuel) fuel supply & vapor lines with the kit. This seemed to be my only reasonable option for 2007 Tahoe, some funky parts situation exists for replacement line options on the market. I did need two 3/8" hose union barbs to reuse the vapor vent fittings at fuel tank and evap vent solenoid in engine bay. This allows keeping the OE plastic tubing 90 degree bends in place where this kit's tubing would need more arching than desired. A 3/8” to 5/16" union would have been optimal, as I had to use the heat gun and a good bit of force to get the unions in the OE tubing, tip: don't over heat it. This kit's tubing reacts well to some heat as long as you slide the braided cover back far enough & don't use too much heat. The male quick connect was perfect for 2007 Chevy Tahoe plastic fuel tank line connection at front side of the tank. I did not go straight to fuel pump, I left the plastic that is OE bent for confirming to the tank area. Removing as much old steel line as possible and running the new braided line over the trans to the tank connections is the worst part of the job. To get my length I used a puece of 1/4" braided steel cable (scrap in my garage) to run from the fuel rail to the tank, marked the spot g then measured my new line cuts with the braided cable. Approx 76" for fuel supply, & due to my reuse of the vaopr line plastic section in engine bay (release between eng. & firewall) I was around 80" for that new piece of this braided line. I have plenty of line & fittings left for another chore later. I only used 4 or 5 fittings in the kit, and used 3/4” heat shrink tubing (5/8" would be perfect if had it) to make my custom connection unions look like a pro did it. Good luck garage warriors.

Evil Energy has been coming through
I'm really impressed by how good this and other Evil Energy products have been. This kit is really good in quality and price. All the adapters seem excellent. I bought this kit to replace all my 12 year old high dollar 6AN lines. The old ones all hardened, loosened and started to crack. This PTFE lined type of hose is a little less flexible and easier to kink than rubber based 6AN types, but you gain true alcohol resistance for that trade.

Solid, no leaks
Just make sure you have a clean cut of the line when you attach the fittings. I cut the line with cable cutters, cleaned up the ends of the internal poly tube with a razor blade to make them square and clean. Just used a pair of adjustable wrenches with masking tape to assemble. If you are super concerned about them looking perfect, get the aluminum wrenches to assemble them without scratching. Plenty of instruction vids on youtube on how to assemble. Fittings are good.
