WORKS VERY WELL. I used one cutting head for each rocker removal, but it could have been just one. Good quality and cut very fast. I also used it for opening up a plug weld.

These little bits are AMAZING ! They work very well. Made my hard job much easier. I bought a 2 pack of 1/8 drill bits and I had the quarter panel off of my van, on saturday afternoon. Very highly recommended !

Just as advertised.

While the design of the annular cutter takes less power to cut a spot weld and the spring loaded point is less inclined to wander, it's also less durable than a solid cutter. The solid cutter has to chop up the whole area of the weld, this cutter only cuts on the perimeter. However I quickly broke a point off and not long after broke some teeth off the cutter. But you get a lot of spares for the price. This was just one small job in automotive sheet metal.

Great product and price

Took me a while to master the skill of cutting spot welds but once I figured out how to use this little bugger efficiently I could seriously zip through some panels. Bits surprisingly do not dull very often.

I have done autobody work for 20 plus years and wish I had these a long time ago. Some reviews said that the teeth were going to snap off or completely fail one way or another but for the price I figured why not. Drill a small pilot hole ( doesn't need to be completely through the material) align the center pin of the cutter with it and SLOWLY let the bit start its path. Let the tool do the work, you won't need to lay on top of the drill to push it through. With light pressure and low speed these things just bore right through and make a clean hole. I drilled roughly 25 welds with no broken teeth and no sign of dulling of the cutter.

This item is a great value but is threaded too far down for the blades to work over time. A simple addition of a washer solves the problem.

A small pilot hole to guide the center pin is required but standard drill bits will do this. One cutting head removed a complete center pillar outer skin on a 4 door Civic. Works as advertised.
