Wine Safeguard Reusable Bottle Protector2-Pack

Used these on a recent trip. One of them worked perfectly in our checked luggage for a plane ride. The other bottle broke (didn't shatter) but the seal was good. There was some condensation that caused the sweatshirt it was wrapped in to get slightly wet, but still wearable. The bag was definitely thrown around, considering it was also ripped when we picked it up at baggage claim. I would still recommend them and will probably use them again. Also they are HUGE way bigger than just a normal 750ml bottle.

So I purchased these based on another customer's comment that they would hold a Magnum bottle. Unfortunately, that is not correct so I am little bummed about that. These are, however, good bags of the regular 750 ml wine bottles for travel. Although they only have one ziplock enclosure instead of 2 ziplock enclosures of my other wine travel bags.

Received these as a gift several years ago and have used them on every trip abroad since. Not only do they work wonderfully for wine, I also pack smaller breakable items in them such as spices, jams, olives, pottery, etc. (with a little cushion between pieces). After about 5–6 years the protective bubble wrap has come loose from the outer wall, so they still work, but aren’t as convenient to use, so I am about to order a replacement pair. Still highly recommend!UPDATE: Received the new replacement bottle protectors and they are different from the first pair and have the velcro put on in a manner that makes it unusable. I bought 4 bottles of wine to take to my brother and sister-in-law's house when I visited. Then I needed to figure out how to protect them while they were in my suitcase heading on a flight to South Carolina. I read reviews for multiple products to keep the wine inside the bottle while it was being tossed, shoved, and crammed in and out of carts and cargo areas. I settled on these reusable bottle protectors. I loved the idea that they were able to be reused. Most important was keeping bottles intact and making sure if there was a breakage my clothes did not get ruined. After easily slipping the bottle into the protector, I put it in a large ziplock bag. I used my clothes and shoes to create support and cushioning. My wine arrived intact when I unpacked my bag. I highly recommend this product.

These worked very well. It never hurts to take extra measures for air travel, but these kept everything good and sealed for my trips thus far. The only "complaint" would be that I'd prefer some that are slightly bigger, but that's not a real complaint.

it is made thick vinyl, has seals like ziploc and velcro. It makes me feel secure even if bottle is broken in suitecase.But for cushoinig, it doesn't look good so much. Although I may have been just unlucky, most of bubbles were flat.Fortunately it is so big (as it doubt if it has to be that big for the regular wine bottle), so I wrapped the bottle by bubble sheet first.The protector still fits it in. Spill pretection in case bottle is broken, yes, it is safeguard, but for protection of bottles, not so much.

I used these bottle protectors for 2 bottles of wine that I was packing for my most recent trip abroad. The protectors were sturdy, had enough room for each bottle of wine, and were easy to use. The velcro flap at the bottom of was protector and easy to fasten. Thus the protector secured each wine bottle well. Moreover, it seems strong enough to prevent any leakage if the bottles should have broken while in transit. Although checked luggage is not handled gently at the airport, the two wine bottles were found to be intact and safe when I opened the suitcase upon arrival at the hotel. Last but not least, these protectors are reusable so I can use them again in the future.

These protectors helped us bring back 2 bottles of wine from Italy, quite successfully! No spills or breaks. I will say that the roll-up-and-velcro system at the bottom is a pretty tight fit. If transporting larger bottles of wine, I'd imagine they might not close successfully. But for our needs, they definitely get the job done!
