great for lego and car fans! easy to build and great present

Great car, definitely needs to be 10+ lots of small fidley bits that need small fingers. Some adult help need for instructions but looks amazing when complete.

I'd say this kit hits the sweet spot of a decent price, a complex enough kit to be interesting and a sensible amount of time to build. The beautiful technic car kits at north of £100-200 are magnificent pieces of work, but they are also a significant financial and time commitment. This one is a generation ahead of the £18 Speed Champions kits, but only costs twice as much, so you get much more for your money. There are some nice touches like steering and an animated V8 engine, but it doesn't extend to proper gearbox, differential and suspension like the top kits do. That said it's a great medium level kit and very good looking when complete and looks something roughly like 1/12 scale, so it doesn't take up as much shelf space as the really big car kits.

Excellent value for money. Once completed it measures approximately 18".

I thought I'd try something new and start relatively easy. Enjoy it right up to the last 10 minutes when I found I had 2 pieces missing. I can guarantee they wasn't dropped or lost as I opened each packet into a plastic container. I feel really disappointed and now have to buy the 2 missing bits at a cost of £5.00 (best price I can find). With this problem I can't honestly give it 5 stars.

Our son was delighted with this car.

Bought for Christmas for my son, first time ever building technics, always had normal Lego previous. Lots of small pieces to contend with, the book doesn’t really give clear concise instructions so a bit of guess work involved. Took a while to build, after making one or two mistakes, son got a bit frustrated first time round, but we got there in the end. Great once built though, looks great! 🙂👍🏻

Gift for an adult who enjoys Lego more now than when he was younger. Ideal for anyone who enjoyed both Lego and F1 racing.

It is more than I expected. The size of the car is good. It took me 9 hours to build it .But the detailing of the interior could have been better and there could have been shock absorbers (suspension) on the car
