Wasnt really sure about this thing, this is pretty impressive. Pretty bright. Lock function is great. Fits perfect in my hitch and stays in place pretty well. Very easy to put in.

It is pretty nice, but the length of the plug is not long enough, depending on the vehicle I suppose, I have a Ram truck and the cord does mot reach my hitch plug outlet, but if you go to your local Auto parts store and look in the Trailer hitch and plug isle, you can find an extension of the same kind of plug, it will be male end and female ends and just has enough slack to reach the provided plug on the Hitch light, once plugged in you can snake it in up and over behind the bumper to plug into the factory receptacle, looks pretty good, and it fit's nice and snug into the trailer hitch receiver.

The cord is too short needs about another 6" to be able to plug it in

I had a the older design that had DODGE underneath the RAM logo, but forgot to remove it when I picked up my new vehicle. Since 2009 RAM was marketed as its own brand and was separated from Dodge. Dodge focused on its muscle car line, while RAM became the marketing brand associated with Trucks. The good news is that this is an officially licensed product. Regardless, the hitch cover is simple to install and performs flawlessly. The hitch cover is lit when the headlights are on and glow even brighter when the brakes are applied, definitely visible in the dark. Fit wise, it could be a little better, the inner tube is not super snug and does rattle even with the use of the foam spacer. When I tried to double up on the spacers, I was not able to get the pin in (the holes didn't line up.) They should have included multiple thinner spacers to fit a wider range of vehicles.
