Weighing less than 2 sheets of paper, Frontpage Reading Glasses are feather-light, durable and ultra-thin. They fit so comfortably in the front pocket of your pants, you may forget they’re with you. Paired with a brushed aluminum, felt-lined 4mm case, they gracefully nest together for protection and portability. Frontpage are full-frame readers, which are a more familiar form factor, without the bulk, for people who have used reading glasses in the past. Both Frontpage styles fit in the felt-lined and magnetic Milano case, but will not fit in the other systems for ThinOptics Readers. Frontpage Reading Glasses are created from medical device materials, like Nitinol, the super-elastic metal alloy used for heart stents. Lenses are incredibly slim, and made from bulletproof-strong polycarbonate lenses. Yep, we don’t mess around. Top quality materials help make both styles light, comfy and durable.

Durably portable
These well-made glasses and case have eliminated the frustration of always having to resort to less than elegant ways to carry reading glasses with me. Typical glasses are too bulky for pockets and inevitably get scratched up from whatever else gets tossed in there. Using one of the temples to hang the glasses on a pocket or shirt collar might work short-term but I always forget they're there after a while and often end up taking them places I wish I didn't (like in a car with the shoulder belt pinching them against me). Taking them out of pockets or from hanging on a shirt also often enough involves the hinges getting tangled up in fabric threads. First world problems? Sure. But it would be good if, instead of having several pairs of reading glasses strategically placed where I'll need them to avoid the portability problem, I can own one pair and safely, conveniently carry them wherever, even backpacking. This pair is that one pair I need. Plus, the optical quality is quite good, no distortion near the periphery, and they don't seem to get scratched. The case fits them like a glove and I hardly notice it's there in my pocket, it's so thin. Probably bombproof, but I haven't run that test yet. The pin for the hinge is a little loose and can start slipping out, but that hasn't created a real problem yet. Last thing, they rest very light on the nose, so no marks means they get the highest marks.

Great quality. Thin and helpful to fit small purses.

I love these glasses!
UPDATE - 8 MONTHS LATER - I still love them! No problems. am very careful with them and use them for hours a day. Still a 5 star from me.I purchased these glasses about a month ago and I love them. They are stylish and feather-lite. I barely feel them on my face. When folded in their ultra thin case they fit perfectly in my breast pocket of my work coat. I can't stand a bunch of clunky stuff in my pockets, so this was perfect. They are compact and fit just about anywhere. The lenses are very clear, and much better than the cheap readers I was purchasing from the Dollar store and Walmart that had a bit of cloudiness to the lenses. These glasses are high-tech in their construction. They are made from very light weight materials. I wouldn't recommend them for someone who is rough on their stuff. They are delicate and require someone to not abuse them. I am easy on things and I use them multiple times per day. I highly recommend them.

Case problem
Very thin. Good Looking. Good Size. Not sure about durability. They seem delicate and hope they hold up. Problem with the case hinge pin falling out as I opened the case the first time but I put back. Now I lost the pin one week later ugh. The case is magnetic so I hope that will be enough.

Best lightweight glasses
I have a couple of pairs of these in case one breaks. I also have a ton of other cheaper reading glasses. All of them were causing indentations in my nose-- and, for some reason, the marks were red. I would look awful after wearing my glasses and I have to wear them for long periods of time when I work. Whenever choosing reading glasses, my criteria was the weight, really-- and lens quality of course. The lens quality on these are great-- Everything is completely clear, no blurriness, no fogginess or anything to interfere with vision. The weight? These are the only glasses I can wear for the whole day that DON'T cause indentations in my nose. I LOVE them. I've had them for over a month now, wear them daily and, when I take them off, there are no marks on my nose. I will only buy these from now on. Even if they break every two months, I'll buy another pair.I think the case is fantastic. I have it attached to my phone with the provided tape and find it very convenient. I used to lose my other reader all over the house and find myself in the kitchen when all the glasses were upstair, etc. Now I have these with me all the time. I haven't used another brand since I bought these.

Stylish Readers, Wonderfully Portable, Could have Better Lenses.
These are stylish, attractive readers. The best part is how thin and lightweight they are—they fit easily into my purse or pocket. They are perfect to have in my purse to read a menu, or a price tag, etc. However, as others have warned, the quality of the lenses aren’t very good. I do not prefer to use them for long periods of reading. I bought two different colors—the tortoise shell, and the light/bright blue, both are pretty for different occasions. I am careful with them as they seem delicate, but I have used them now for several months without incident.

Very low profile and fit easily in pocket or purse
If you’re wanting readers that can fit easily in your purse or pocket, these are great for that.I was pleasantly surprised by their size, as I have a narrow face and was worried that they’d be too big/wide. They are very close to the size of my prescription glasses as seen in the photos. They fit me perfectly. But not sure that they’d fit everyone. I added the measurement so that you can measure your current glasses and compare if they’d be the right size for you. They don’t slide down on my face either. They feel kind of fragile to me, but I think that’s the nature of these. The circular part of the frame seems to be made of plastic. I just make sure to be careful when I bring them anywhere. But, what I love the best is the case. It’s sturdy for what it is and keeps the reading glasses safe.I ordered Brown and was sent Clear. So took photos of both. The Clear ones were also “used”, there were finger prints on the glass part (see green arrow). Also the part that goes over the ear was slightly bent and couldn’t be straightened. I returned those.I reordered the Brown and kept those. You can stick them in one of your pockets, if you don’t want to bring a purse and are only bringing a phone to a restaurant, etc. I like they fit easily in a small cross-body purse.I looked at other brands, but couldn’t find anything that was this low profile and had a case as nice as this one.
