Easy to use, good temperature, east to use timer with cook book, good value for money and good quality product

Being a 65 year old and very happy with my halogen oven for many years I decided to take the next step and get up to date with an air fryer. Decided on the Uten oven as I really wanted something with trays rather than the ones with drawers. Have only been using the Uten for a week and have to say that I am so impressed with it. I cooked a medium sized chicken in it which took under an hour at 170, I haven't tried the rotisserie yet as I have yet to master the trussing up of the chicken before being able to but will do in the future. I par boiled the potatoes and they were perfectly roasted in 30 minutes coming out lovely and crispy and soft inside. Have tried the rotating basket with some frozen specially selected chunky chips from Aldi (these are massive) and they cooked in 25 minutes, in the oven they would have been 35-40 minutes. Have also cooked some chicken thighs/drumsticks in it and they only took 30 minutes to cook.I'm really looking forward to trying more things in the oven, I am very impressed with the speed the food cooks and it doesn't come out dry as I feared it might. I intend to use this as a normal oven but just cut down the cooking time. This size is perfect for me as there are only two of us most of the time but I see there are larger versions out there that would be more suitable for families, it all depends on how much counter space you have in your kitchen. 10 out of 10 from me and the saving on energy bills is a definite bonus!Forgot to mention, this oven is soooo easy to clean, a quick wipe round is all it needs and there is very little splutter from any food I have cooked. Have attached another photo of the Yorkshire puddings I have just made. The four hole large tin fits in perfectly.

This was a gift so I need to relay this review from her photos and ravings. She absolutely loves this air fryer. Everything that she has pulled from it has been 10/10 quality exceeding my expectations by a large margin. It has the convenience I was hoping for but also delivered high quality foods at a faster rate than her conventional oven would have. The rotisserie feature has been a big hit making a spinny chicken and a spinny pig (gammon). The basket has been used for chip, potato, and over veg as well as chicken nuggies. The toasties that she has made are perfectly crisp on the outside while being melty and good on the inside.An aspect that I had not considered until she had pointed it out, is that this would be perfect for someone that has disabilities and issues with removing things from a hot oven as this would be counter height. It's also light weight and easy to use. Easy to clean. Big easy to handle spinny button and light touch other buttons, large clear display, and pre programmed buttons that actually do the thing at one touchThe only negative that I can think of is that a full frozen pizza doesn't quite fit and needs to be cut in twain before being placed on both racks and rotated.So far she is enjoying the air fryer and recommending it to friends and family. I would say that its worth the price.

I use this machine almost every day. For toast in the morning or sometimes a really yummy toasted cheese sandwich. Fries and chicken are superb. Sliced aubergines or parsnips turn out better cooked in this than by any other method. Cupcakes are dead easy to cook, larger cakes too. Sliced mushrooms in a pyrex bowl gives you the best way to cook this fungi. The cooking process drives out all the mositure really quickly. Finish with a smidgeon of truffle oil. When working it is quieter than I expected and cleaning is really easy.You have to flip shelves to get even cooking all round. I haven't found out how to remove the door but I'm not sure you really need to.The overall build quality is very good. The set programmes work OK but I have nearly always tweaked them.Cakes for example, seem to cook better at a slightly lower temperature and a few mnutes longer.The glass fronted door and individual light button is an essential feature once you get used to it.Overall I think it represents terrific value for money

Fast delivery! The air fryer was due to arrive on Thursday, but came early on Tuesday.Although it looks quite a bit smaller than my previous Tower airfryer, which was 4.3ltr, it holds 4ltr and seems to me to hold more as the pan is square as opposed to round, which things like chips fit better in. It fits well in my countertop and looks good. I really like that it is white.So far everything I have cooked I have been very pleased with.Just one thing that needs attention from the seller :- the user guide which came with the airfryer, although it had the right product code on the cover, mentions several times about a separate basket that fits inside the pan (even gives instructions how to remove it on page 10)In fact there is no basket, it has a separate grill pan instead (there is a photo of that but no notes about it) The grill pan works very well, better than a basket, I think, but the guide was a bit confusing, and needs updating.
