Depends on how many amps your trim tabs are pulling. I would use this to throw a relay and let the relay operate the trim tabs. That being said, I would not use these on any unit that uses more that 15 amps. I know it is rated for 20, but with trim tabs there will be a amp surge when they first start to move.
