Very practical stand. Light, well designed and cheap (in a good way)
The stability is excellent. Whether I'm propping up my phone for video calls or setting my iPad at an angle for watching shows, it stays put without wobbling. I was skeptical given the low price point, but the build quality has held up remarkably well. After daily use, it still looks and functions like new. What I appreciate most is the practicality. It's not trying to reinvent the wheel—it's just a well-designed stand that works. No complicated adjustments, no flimsy parts, no frustration. At this price, I expected something disposable. Instead, I got a stand that feels like it will outlast several generations of my devices. If you want something cheap, functional, and reliable without any unnecessary bells and whistles, this is it.

Moko phone stand Stan!!
This seems like a silly thing to review, but this little phone holder deserves it. I bought one in 2019 and it was not quite what I needed at the time (I ended up getting a holder that could hold my phone a few inches above the table), but I kept it because it was cheap and handy. It is amazing to put in your purse or backpack and have it to hold your phone up at your desk or if you’re eating alone at a restaurant (what I most use it for). It held up with pretty frequent (maybe weekly?) use! The little tabs have worn down now though, so it doesn’t “lock in” when I try to set the height adjustment. It will still hold my phone, but if I want my phone at a closer/taller angle, it won’t work. I ordered a different set on amazon thinking they were all generic pieces of plastic but shockingly, it isn’t. The Moko one is the sturdiest one that I’ve found while still being super lightweight, so I caved and bought another… and will probably buy another one to keep in all my bags. Save yourself the hassle and order this one - trust me!!

Great little stand
Great little stand, folds up so small you can put it into your wallet. Been using it and carrying it in my purse for months now and it still looks and works like new. Strong plastic. Love that the hinge pin is metal. The only weak point might be that the two tiny pegs on the back that sit in the notches (you can adjust how far back it leans to some extent) are just plastic, but so far so good. They haven't broken off. One thing I like is the dent in the middle of the lip in the front that holds the phone from sliding off. This dent is there so that you can turn the phone upside-down and the lip won't block the camera. This is important if you're like me and use Facetime a lot; and I mean I use it a LOT. Once you've had a video call going for an hour you need to plug the phone in, and with this stand you can do that while still keeping the phone vertical by turning it upside down (so the cord sticks off the top). It's just a little detail but something I appreciate. EDIT: I reviewed this in April 2017 and I am still using this same stand in 2024!!! I am not kidding. The little rubber feet fell off, but the thing is still going strong! Lives in my work backpack and I take it every day and use it. That's SEVEN YEARS of daily use, and the thing has not broken, still works perfectly, I'm really impressed. Seriously. This was a good couple of bucks spent, I can tell you.

Pleasantly surprised
I already had 2 of the AmazonBasics Multi-Angle Portable Stand for iPad Tablet, E-reader and Phone. It's a very sturdy and handy tool when we read from our Kindles. But it's metal and adds more weight to my tote bag that I want. When I came across the Moko, it sounded ideal and the price was great, but you never know ... Well, I really like it. The Moko is very lightweight, folds down flat and small, and it holds the Kindle at a variety of angles and seems to be quite sturdy. Perfect for taking along on the go. Fits easily into a pocket of my tote or in the pocket of my tablet case.

Tiny But Effective! Very Handy and Exactly What I Needed
I love it. I ordered this with a specific need in mind. I have terrible cell signal inside my house so I bought a cell phone signal booster, but a small one with limited range. So I am constantly putting my phone into 'test mode' so I can read the actual decibels of my signal (more accurate than the signal bars), so then I walk around, find a spot with a good signal, set the phone down in that exact spot and use speakerphone (so that way I'm not moving the phone around with my body and changing the signal, it's very touchy). Ah, life in the woods! So I realized a little stand like this is a must since it's on speakerphone almost entirely when I'm home and I also want it propped up so I can monitor the signal strength as I talk. I almost ordered one by "Amazon Basics" which looked decent but decided on this one instead for two reasons: 1. It was cheaper, and 2. It has an adjustable angle and I don't believe the other one did. The little silicone strip in this tray is crucial. Before I ordered this stand I was propping my phone on all kinds of "makeshift stands" from scotch tape dispensers to framed photos, a variety of things. The main reason why nothing worked was because the phone would slide off. I even tried padding it with a paper towel (yeah, I'm that cheap!) but that just got in the way, I needed a proper stand. So the silicone strip on this little stand holds it in place perfectly. I like that I can change the angle. It will hold the device vertically or horizontally. I noticed the description recommends using your phone horizontally for best results and I can see why. The phone when vertical is a little tippy (side to side I mean. Not the stand but the phone itself rocks to the side with a light touch, when on the stand vertically). This could be easily fixed if they added a second silicone strip on the back; the part it leans up against. Mine hasn't tipped off the stand yet, but a good bump would probably knock it off the side if the phone is in the tall (vertical) position. That being said, I'm an adult, no kids around, so I use mine vertically with care and it's fine. One bonus: The description also says that it won't work with phones or tablets "with cases", presumably because the case makes it too thick to fit in the VERY slim tray. I will say though, my Kindle Fire HD 8 WITH the Amazon case (the fabric kind that says "Amazon" on the lower right corner) DOES fit on this. So that's a bonus. So now I want to order another one of these stands just for the Kindle (the Amazon case technically has a flap that acts as a stand but it's less than reliable). I should note however, that Amazon Fire case is very thin, so many if not most other cases would probably not fit, the tray is quite narrow. The stand is tiny too, you could easily put it in a pocket, purse or bag. I ordered a book at the same time as this stand and thought they forgot to send the stand because the box was tightly wrapped around the book, but sure enough, it was just so tiny and flat that it fit right in the flat book box.

Would recommend and buy again. Small, compact, sturdy. I found a YouTube video review of this stand, which finally made me buy it after having it on my wishlist for a long time while I waffled about it. It's surprisingly sturdy (does not feel flimsy) and has a ton of viewing angles. Fits my iPhone 7 plus with Casemate case with no problems. Planning to buy the tablet version for my iPad next - although this one would work for the iPad too.

This allows my to read my Samsung Note 10.1 2014 edition upright in portrait mode or even manipulate it and do crossword puzzles without having to hold the tablet up. Great for meal time or holding a small child for new parents. The tablet is stable in the top three settings, beyond that it gets a bit tippy if you need to frequently touch the screen. Great price, great product, small enough to have a home in any briefcase or messenger bag.
