MyBuild (Base Defender MF05-A01) - Mecha Frame Base Defender MF05-A01 Building Toy with Cockpit for Mini Pilot Figure

This product made me do do my first ever review. Being a AFOL (adult fan of lego) I was not expecting a lot from this package...I was wrong. The item is packaged in a high quality box that makes lego boxes look cheap. I throw my lego boxes out, these box are on display.. The instruction book is of high quality as Well..it did have a slight error in it but nothing major.. The frame and the bricks are of lego quality..apart from the lego logo missing you would not know the difference. The mybuild website is helpful and has links to other builds you can do with the kits. And a 11inch tall frame you can 3d print..to take your mech builds to the next level and beyond.. Overall the mybuild kits are fantastic I have purchased 2 of them sofar and will be ordering all of them over the coming months.. Well worth the money 10/10

Actually impressed with this set and brand. I’m a big Gundam/MechWarrior fan from childhood and these sets scratch that itch. My child loves playing with them as well and they integrate just fine with our actual LEGO collection. This one, the “Base Defender,” reminds me of the “cannon-fodder” type bad guy suits you see in Gundam, like the Leo, that just get destroyed en-masse. Basic, mass-produced line troops. Might have to get a few more for some “army building.” As for the set, I had no issues with parts falling up during play, the joints and bricks are tight and hold together well. The included minifig was a different story, the torso would come off the legs incredibly easy. Nothing a little bit of “Kraggle” can’t fix (Krazy Glue). As you can see, regular LEGO minifigs fit just fine, even with helmet and air tanks. I did remove one internal piece for easier minifigure fit but that did not affect structural integrity any bit. So overall, very happy and very impressed. Will probably buy the whole range of these mech suits.
